Cloud 9 is a newly renovated seven-bedroom lake house on Table Rock Lake, built for the kind of trip where everyone ends up in the same room — and can still slip off to a quiet one when they need it.
WHAT MAKES CLOUD 9 SPECIAL - A private outdoor bowling lane — a real one, and the only one in the neighborhood - A game room loaded with Golden Tee, Big Buck Hunter, NBA Jam, Fast & Furious racing, tabletop Pong, Pop-A-Shot, shuffleboard, and foosball - An 8-person hot tub with a lake view, open year-round - A private outdoor fire pit — one of the only private fire pits in the entire Branson Cove development - Seven bedrooms and seven full baths — six bedrooms are ensuite; the bunk room uses the lower-level hall bath just across the way - A dedicated barista-level coffee bar for the early risers - State Park Marina next door: pontoons, ski boats, and wave runners two minutes away - Community amenities: a year-round indoor pool, a summer outdoor pool and splash pad, pickleball courts, a playground, and a community fire pit area with a walking trail down to the lake
THE MAIN LEVEL You come into an open living room — electric fireplace on, everyone sprawled across the sectional — that runs into the dining area and a full kitchen with real counter space for a group cook, plus the coffee bar and an island everyone ends up leaning on. A large deck spans the back of the home with a grill, seating, and the lake in front of you. Two bedrooms sit on this level: the Fish Room with two queens and its own bath, and a king with its own bath.
THE UPPER LEVEL The primary suite is at the top of the stairs with a king bed and the best lake views in the house. A second king bedroom sits across from it, also ensuite, with a wood-slat headboard.
THE LOWER LEVEL This is where the trip happens. The game room is enormous — Golden Tee, Big Buck Hunter, NBA Jam, and Fast & Furious racing cabinets, plus tabletop Pong, Pop-A-Shot, shuffleboard, foosball, board games, and a 72-inch smart TV. Three more bedrooms are down here: the Howdy Room (western-themed king, ensuite), the Water Ski Room (nautical king, ensuite), and the bunk room that sleeps six, with the lower-level hall bath just across the way. The laundry is on this level, and the patio door opens straight out to the hot tub, the fire pit, and the bowling lane.
WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP — 7 bedrooms, 13 beds, sleeps 20 - Primary Suite (upper) — king, ensuite, best lake views - Upper King — king, ensuite - Main-Level King — king, ensuite - Fish Room (main) — two queens, ensuite - Howdy Room (lower) — king, ensuite - Water Ski Room (lower) — king, ensuite - Bunk Room (lower) — six twin beds, bath across the hall
FOR FAMILIES The kitchen is stocked down to the Ziploc bags, and we keep a high chair, a pack-n-play, a baby gate, children's dinnerware, room-darkening shades, and a shelf of kids' books and toys on hand. Guests tell us the same thing over and over: there's enough space for everyone, and enough to do that a rainy afternoon never becomes a problem.
GOLF AT BIG CEDAR LODGE (15–20 minutes) Some of the most talked-about courses in the country sit a short drive south: Payne's Valley (Tiger Woods' first public design, with its island-green 19th), Ozarks National (Coore & Crenshaw), and Buffalo Ridge (Tom Fazio), plus the par-3 courses at Top of the Rock (Jack Nicklaus) and Mountain Top (Gary Player). Newest is Cliffhangers, an 18-hole par-3 carved into the limestone bluffs, where the signature Lion's Den hole is played from inside a cave, out through a waterfall, to a green 40 feet below. Tee off in the morning and be back to bowl and grill by afternoon.
WHO IT'S BEST FOR - Multi-generational trips — grandparents on the main level, kids in the bunk room, everyone together at dinner - Two or three families sharing — six ensuite bedrooms mean nobody negotiates a shower schedule - Reunions and milestone celebrations — a fire pit made for the toast - Golf groups — Big Cedar tee times minutes away and a game room for the 19th hole - Corporate and church retreats — room to gather, minutes from Branson
THE AREA - State Park Marina — next door; rent a pontoon, ski boat, or wave runner - Dale Avenue Boat Launch — borders the neighborhood - Big Cedar Lodge golf — 15–20 minutes; Payne's Valley, Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge, and the new Cliffhangers par-3 - Silver Dollar City — about 15 minutes - Branson Landing and the 76 Strip — about 15 minutes - Table Rock State Park and Dam — 10–15 minutes - Dogwood Canyon Nature Park — 25–30 minutes
GETTING AROUND A car is easiest here; everything in Branson is a 15–20 minute drive and parking is free wherever you go. Springfield-Branson National (SGF) is about 50 minutes north and Branson Airport (BKG) is about 20 minutes. Rideshare runs in the area but can thin out at peak times, so a rental is the safer bet for a group. For the lake you barely need to drive — the marina is next door.
PARKING Parking is free and open throughout the Branson Cove neighborhood — there are no assigned spaces. Three spots sit right in front of the home on a first-come basis, like everywhere else in the community, with plenty more nearby. If you're towing a boat, stage it at the marina or the launch next door.
ACCESS AND HOUSE RULES Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM, with self check-in via smart lock — your entry details arrive with your arrival instructions. Please note there are a few steps up to the front door, and Cloud 9 is a three-level home with stairs to the upper and lower floors. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM out of respect for the neighborhood. This is a strictly non-smoking, non-vaping home. Gatherings and events are welcome as long as your total headcount never exceeds the maximum occupancy of 20, which is strictly enforced. The booking guest must be 25 or older. Up to two dogs under 50 lbs are welcome for a $250 non-refundable fee per dog. A $1,000 refundable damage deposit is held about 48 hours before check-in and released within 48 hours after checkout via Stripe; one-night stays require an additional deposit. For everyone's security, exterior video cameras cover the outside of the home — there are no cameras inside or in private outdoor areas like the hot tub or fire pit.
We're looking forward to hosting you. — Max, Happy Place Stays
