Park your car and walk almost anywhere!! So close to University of Kentucky, Chevy Chase restaurants, Coffee Shops, Parks and Trails!
Our completely renovated bungalow in the Historic Aylesford district of Chevy Chase is a prime locaton for seeing all that Lexington offers! We are just a few hundred yards from Woodland Park, featuring walking paths, tennis courts, and picnic areas. The Woodland Art Fair will be an experience you won't want to miss each August! The park also hosts Ballet Under the Stars, a unique ballet instruction and performance event!
Our home is walking distance to Kroger, shops and restaurants on Euclid in the heart of Chevy Chase, and Graeter's Ice Cream shop. We are also convenient to downtown amenties!
The houses on our street are uniquely designed! Our neighbors are long- term homeowners, young families with children, professionals, professors, long term rentals, a couple of short term rentals and college rentals! We love our street and all it offers!
And of course, the walk to UK campus and stadium is less than a mile! Perfect for a football weekend!
We have remodeled the bungalow to have a wonderfully situated living area, with new couches and chairs and SmartTV. Vaulted ceilings in the living and kitchen area are well lighted and feature a Big Ass Fan (come to Lex, ask around, you'll find out it's really cool). Kitchen features new stainless appliances, ample cabinet space, kitchen island for seating, stocked with pots and pans and pantry items, all overlooking an awesome fenced back yard for your pup! The house has a new hot water heater and central hvac system, equipped with a Nest thermostat.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with comfy mattresses, lots of pillows and remote controlled Big Ass Fans, too! Each bedroom has an oversized closet!
Bathroom is spalike, with a large double vanity, and glass surround walk in shower.
Front room is a dedicated work space with a desk and chair; this room also houses the new stackable, full size washer and dryer.
Speaking of pets...we love them but need to know about them prior to booking! We will allow one dog, around 50 pounds, well behaved and trained and preferably not a bed or couch sleeper...but not a dealbreaker, as we do provide plenty of blankets and coverings for the couch and beds. The backyard is fully fenced with a privacy fence, and plenty of space to throw a tennis ball! We do have a $25 pet fee for approved pets. Be sure to let me know the details when you inquire to book! We appreciate not letting your pets on our furnitire or beds…if they are tempted, please use the blankets provided or bring you own old sheet as needed! No cats or other animals permitted.
The house is a great location for 4 guests coming in for a weekend to explore Lexington, attend a football game, visit Keeneland, or head to the Bourbon Trail.
The house is equipped with a Ring doorbell/front porch camera and a back door camera The system is monitored 24/7 and must not be tampered with. We do not allow events or parties, and only registered guests and immediate family in town are permitted overnight on the property. Thank you in advance for abiding by this important policy! We strive to make our place a "home away from home" and appreciate your respect for our neighbors. The entire house, indoor and outdoor (including the front porch and back yard) is non-smoking!
Lexington Special Fees License/Registration 15057248-1. Maximum occupancy at any time is 4; maximum overnight occupancy is 4. Strict adherence to number of overnight guests and day guests is expected and required by the City of Lexington and Fayette County Ky. No gatherings permitted under host rules and regulations at any time and any guests not on the reservation must be disclosed and approved for daytime visits.
