Welcome to Stella Maris: Our Oceanfront Family Home boasts multiple decks for outdoor living in the calmest part of Kure Beach in the beautiful neighborhood of Kure Dunes. Grill your dinner on our covered wrap-around porch. Every bedroom has an Ocean View!  The kids and fishermen can walk ten short minutes up the beach to the famous Kure Beach Pier.  Bring the whole family: Four Bedrooms and Four Bathrooms, plus a sofa bed, and a generously furnished living room to accommodate sleeping 12.  Bring up to two *Under 30 pound* dogs for an extra fee. Don't worry about your luggage: you'll have generous closet space throughout.

Ground-level patio with seating, Outdoor private Hot water shower. Private boardwalk directly out to the beach. Gated Deck at dunes with outdoor seating. One small vehicle can go in the garage. Fenced backyard. Large guest storage closet with beach umbrellas and kayaks. Guest must sign boat waiver. Use At Your Own Risk.

Guest Bedroom 2: King Bed, TV, Ceiling Fan, Access to Wrap Around Deck
Wrap Around Deck: Covered porch with rocking chairs, Sun Deck with Outdoor Dining, Cupola with Barstools, Ceiling Fan. 
Open Living Area: Comfortably furnished family great room with Entertainment Center, Smart TV and Stereo, Queen Sleeper Sofa, and Doors to wrap around deck. 
Kitchen: Fully stocked, upgraded with granite countertops, Large center island, and upgraded stainless steel appliances.
Dining Area: Dining table seating for 6 and countertop seating for 4. 

Level 3:
Guest Bedroom 3: 2 Twin Beds, Pack-N-Play, TV
Hallway Bathroom 3: Fully remodeled 2024 - bathtub with tiled shower, single vanity, Toilet. 
Primary Bedroom Suite: 1 King Bed, Double Nightstands, Soft Side Chair, Ceiling Fan, TV, Private Porch, Ensuite Bath
Ensuite Covered Porch: Pub Table and Stools 
Ensuite Bathroom: Updated Large Tile Shower, Dressing Vanity with granite countertops. Wet bar, and Mini Fridge.

Parking:
Parking in garage for 1 small car, size dependent. Additional space for up to 2 vehicles in the driveway. No Parking In The Yard: Kure Dunes has a strict prohibition against parking in the grass. No trailers allowed.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic Entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities 
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pet Policy:
Dogs Allowed - The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking 
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit. 
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.
