I would seriously think twice before booking this property. This was one of the most uncomfortable vacation rental experiences I've ever had, largely because of the host.On our first night, two friends with a cancelled flight stopped by for about 5 minutes before heading to the airport. They did not stay overnight and left when the host confronted us. She arrived late at night, banged on the door, shook the handle, became extremely confrontational, demanded 50 per person and passport copies, and threatened to terminate our stay. I confirmed in writing that no additional guests would be staying. She then said she would conduct "reasonable checks." The next morning, while we were at breakfast, she entered the rental and removed the extra pillows she had provided. We were extremely uncomfortable about our privacy for the rest of the trip. The host later said the situation caused her "stress" and "disruption to her peace of mind" and suggested we pay her additional money for that. The property also had several issues: inadequate A/C forced us to sleep on the sofa, the TV didn't work, Wi-Fi was unusable, the safe didn't work, and we received only one fresh set of towels for seven nights. We stayed because we were already in Croatia during peak festival season and alternative accommodations were extremely difficult to find. Staying was not an indication that we were satisfied. If privacy, respectful communication and a stress-free stay matter to you, I would look elsewhere.

This review contains untrue claims that a video disproves. The apartment was booked for two people. On the first evening the guest repeatedly requested extra pillows, blankets and bed linen, made up the sofa for two people himself, and claimed two blankets had never existed. Soon two more people arrived with full luggage. The guest says the friends stayed only five minutes. The video my wife recorded on entering, while the friends were still there, shows a room prepared for sleeping, including the “nonexistent” blankets, and they say themselves that they came to stay overnight. She asked for 50 euros in total (not per person) and documents for the legally required eVisitor registration. They refused both and left. When my wife tried to take back our pillows, the guest threw her out and forbade her to enter. He confirmed in writing that no additional persons would stay, yet an unregistered man with a backpack kept spending time in the apartment. The same video shows the TV working. The air conditioning was set to 21 °C while it was over 30 °C outside, so it was cold and the guests used blankets. They never used the bedroom and chose the sofa. Wi-Fi covers the whole property; towels are changed once mid-stay, per our property category. The stay was never terminated. The guest used it fully and reported no defect. Vrbo has our video and photos, as the guest demanded a full refund. We never rated him negatively or asked him for money, although it was stressful for us.
