Wow! It was like opening the door to a boutique hotel! The house was immaculately clean. We marveled at the attention to detail and creative use of every space. The beautiful wooded view from the sunny front room and tasteful decor throughout make this a special retreat. Our dog loved swimming in Lake Michigan (before 10am and after 6pm) however it was much too far for us to walk! We would absolutely stay here again!

What a beautiful property! My family spent a weekend here and we all fell in love with this newly restored home and its lovely, calming décor with personal touches. The home was immaculately clean. The fire pit and large picnic table were perfect settings for family conversations. The beds were comfortable and the towels plentiful. We loved the area as well! The Dunes National Park nearby offered adventure and beach time. The village just down the road (New Buffalo, MI) should not be missed! Many great places to eat, stroll and shop...and to get ice cream!

Sweet Little Cottage In the Woods

We loved our stay at this sweet little cottage just outside New Buffalo. We walked to the beach one morning, had a lovely fire and roasted s'mores and just enjoyed the company. What a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of city life! To all those that come, enjoy your rest!

Private quiet close to beach

We enjoyed the property very much. The location is a perfect walk through the wooded neighborhood with our dogs, just far enough for them to jump in the lake and cool off and dry off one the way home. The cottage was so cute and clean. Provided everything we needed, stocked with cleaning supplies and very well organized. We enjoyed the backyard and watching the deer out all the many windows. Great use of space for beds. We liked that it was not very touristy but close to many nearby towns for explore. Would have enjoyed better toilet paper.

Very cute house. They've done a lot with a little space, to the point that it feels much bigger than it is. Open floor plan, lots of windows. Very comfortable!

Great girls trip

Very nice cottage and yard is beautiful. Perfectly slept 6 girlfriends on a getaway. Walk to beach is long but walkable, but if you have a golf cart that's the way to go! Loved the property and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Great getaway!

We had a small family re-union at the wonderful house. House is cute as can be inside, nice comfortable furniture, nicely decorated. We had 2 couples staying at the house. Very clean and well taken care of property!

Lovely Cottage

The cottage is nestled in wooded area. It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The accommodations are new but quaint. We had a mother/daughter/niece weekend, and the cottage offered communal areas for sharing time but also allowed for privacy. Our two dogs loved the grassy area and fire pit near the outdoor furniture. We had a lovely weekend, and the cottage definitely was one of the highlights for our trip.

Girls Trip

Absolutely loved this cottage! It’s tucked away in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. Enjoyed a fire both nights in the beautiful stone fireplace. Relaxed by the fire pit with s’mores. Short drive to cute town, New Buffalo, MI. So happy owner allows small dogs. Definitely stay here again!

Perfect relaxing weekend - with our pups

Had a great time, enjoying the local towns, Lake Michigan, and this incredible property with my husband and our two pups. Saw a ton of wildlife in our walks to the lake and left feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommend!

Loved it!

Perfect for our family of 5! Nice yard, nice house, and very accommodating hostess. About 1/2 - 3/4 mile walk to the beach, but we enjoyed the stroll through the neighborhood- lots of cool homes to check out. The wagon to load all of our beach gear in was a great perk!! We’ll definitely be back!!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The house was very well appointed, perfectly organized, and immaculate. We had plenty of room to spread out and all the furnishings were stylish and comfortable. We loved the use of the fire pit and lawn games. The location is close to the beaches and the owner is very responsive (though we didn’t have any problems). The neighborhood was very quiet and people were friendly. Overall, a fabulous stay.
