Günstig im historischen Westside von Colorado Springs und nur wenige Minuten von I-25 und Highway 24, Innenstadt Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs und die Broadmoor, diese neue Heimat wird Luft mit vier Schlafzimmern (1 Doppelbett, 2 Königinnen 1 Anlage dble), 3. 5 Bäder. Das Haus wird professionell in einem gemütlichen Landhausstil mit einem Garten-Ebene Ausstand eingerichtet. Zusätzliche Betten sind ein Tagesbett im Familienzimmer (2 Einzelbetten) und Schlafsofas sowohl im Wohnzimmer und Familienzimmer. Alle Betten neue Simmons Beauty Rest Matratzen.

Es verfügt über 2 Parkplätze in der Einfahrt, als auch off-Augen-Parkplatz für zwei zusätzliche Fahrzeuge / Anhänger / Wohnmobile auf der Rückseite. Das umzäunte Hinterhof hat einen konkreten Patio mit Grill und Esstisch und Stühlen und einer Feuerstelle mit Stühlen (wenn von Stadtverordnung erlaubt). Ein Deck aus dem Wohnzimmer hat einen Blick auf Pikes Peak mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt Fernseher und DVDs in sowohl aus dem Wohnzimmer und Familienzimmer und ein Spielzimmer in der Garage mit Tischtennisplatte, Tischfußball, Pokertisch, Dartscheibe und einen Schrank voller Spiele, sowie, ein Spiel Schrank im Obergeschoss mit den Schlafzimmern . Viele Bücher und 2 bis 6 Fahrräder zur Verfügung (muss im Voraus reserviert werden) für das Reiten der örtlichen Radwege innerhalb weniger Minuten von der Wohnung.

Family time in Colorado

We needed a place for several adults and one toddler. It was perfect. The host was great to stay in touch with us and keep us informed and asked if we needed anything. Convenient location was perfect for doing things in Colorado Springs.

Each family stay is unique. Keeping the lines of communication open is important to everyone staying enjoying their time together. The home's locations allows individual guests to easily explore Manitou Springs by stepping out the front door and the 55 local attractions within minutes by car. Answering questions about events, venues, catering or photographer are only some of the things we have been able to help with our guests. Creating memories to take home when they leave.

Had a few issues but the host worked extremely hard to remedy. Nothing that was in their control, but worked hard to remedy and ensure we were taken care of.

We really appreciate it when a guest lets us know of a problem. Since we don't live in the home, it is important to hear from someone who does, even if it is for only a short time, When we learn of something that needs attention, it is easy to get that taken care of. Our guests' comfort is our primary goal and number 1 priority!

Wonderful stay in Colorado Springs

The rental we had allowed us to stay together as a family verses multiple hotel rooms. The bathrooms were updated and the home was roomy. They also had two coffee makers which was big plus for our group for breakfast! The location was close to restaurants, grocery and other stores. The decor was a bit dated but was clean.

I appreciate all guests comments as it is invaluable to us as we care very much about our guests' comfort and happiness. Each unit of the duplex has a different decor. This one has a country decor which is not as fashionable as the other unit which has a traditional style. I will be sure to schedule this guest for the other unit the next time she visits. I appreciate the guest noting the cleanliness of the home as we have a detailed check-list for our cleaners!

Perfect perfect perfect!

Booked this property for my family while they were in town visiting for my wedding. I live in the neighborhood and love it here, so I wanted them near by so we could spend all our time together. The property was perfect for the family! So much space, a lot of seating and table space, close to everything fun, and the owner was amazing to work with. I would absolutely have my family stay here again!

This place but definitely not new anymore. The AC wasn’t working the first night but after that it seemed to get going yet. The bbq didn’t work even after we got a new propane tank. The back deck is almost falling off the house. And it wasn’t super clean.

I appreciated this review. It has been a few yers since the renovation; however, we just now began to rent it out again as a vacation rental. The AC was working and cooled once she reset the thermostat to a lower temperature. We did bring by a replace tank when the guest called us. They never called about it not lighting. The BBQ also lit when checked after they left. The guest must not have turned on the starter dial (second from the right) . If other dials are turned on before the starter lights, they will not respond. Directions in the Welcome Guide. Finally, the renters before did indeed knock the deck off the post supporting one corner. no idea how they did that, but they didn't tell us. This review notification was responded to immediately. The deck was realigned on the support pillar and secured with bolts. Not living in the home, it went unnoticed by the cleaners. So we were unaware of the situation until this review. Thank you! Always appreciate when a guest calls us with any problems so that we can fix them immediately.

Great Last Minute Find!

The location we were originally supposed to stay in didn’t have AC and so we needed to find a place for our band ASAP. (We were in CS to perform at The Fine Arts Center.) Luckily, we saw this gem. I reached out to Joanne and she got back to us immediately. Her place had everything we needed and in a great location too!! We had a great 6 day stay at her place. We’ll be back.

Stayed three nights in mid July

This house is in an older neighborhood, with a house near by that is boarded up (maybe in renovation). We had a group of five so it was cheaper than staying in a hotel. It was nice that we could all be together for morning coffee and relax at the end of the day. The kitchen table is large and the furniture is comfortable. As said in a previous review, there is more room than it looks like in the pictures. I would say it lacked attention to detail, any special little touches and is in need of minor repairs.

Yes, per the title, this home is located in the Historic Westside of Colorado Springs so there are homes dating back to the late 1800's. This home was built in 2009 and renovated in 2018 with the single car garage being converted into living space. The new area has a large bay window that lets in lots of natural light, new carpet and light fixtures. Prior to this summer season the interior of the home was paint. The photos on the website were taken with my iphone so do not capture the entire room. Guests always comment on how spacious and comfortable the home is. The best advantage is the location which is central to everything in the area. Being within blocks of 1-25 and Hwy 24, you are within minutes of Downtown Colorado Springs, the Historic Westside, Manitou Springs, USAFA and the Broadmoor area. Being owner managed, I was able to respond within hours to a request for an additional key.

Wonderful experience

Our host was very nice, pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed having all of the extra space. With three teenagers, we needed to be able to give everyone their own space. The home was comfortable and had all of the amenities that we needed. It was clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Having internet is essential to my husband's business and it worked flawlessly. There are only two things I would change about our experience. I would add black-out curtains to the master bedroom. We like to sleep in darkness and the sun and exterior lighting made sleeping in a bit challenging. Additionally, I would have preferred a few extra towels be available. As I prefer to use a body towel and another for my hair since it is longer. Both minor and in no way would prevent me from recommending this home to others.

I always appreciate hearing how I can improve on items in my home for the comfort of my guests. I will order some "blackout" curtains and leave more extra towels. I send an extensive evaluation with an sase to each of my guests with their security/damage deposit refund precisely for this reason as I enjoy many repeat customers each year.

Great Property for a big Family

The stay at this property was great. Enough rooms and restrooms for a big family like mine. The location was also great, not far from where I wanted to go. The host was kind enough to share some info and things to do while in Colorado. Overall, great property and definitely recommend to people with a big family or group.

JoAnne was great to work with. We had a last minute dilema in that my husband injiured his leg and knee and was unable to walk or bear weight on leg or do any stairs. She was very nice in giving us an upgrade to a property that was more suitable, with ADA access - wonderful location very close to historical manitou springs. Would definately stay again..

Overall good property

Overall the property was good. Nice location. This property wasn't too far from any of the great tourist areas! There were four bedrooms and a twin bed with trundle in the downstairs family room so we had nice beds for the 10 of us. We couldn't utilize the outdoors due to the chairs being broken. They did fix the 4 chairs on the deck but not the ones by the fire pit area. I would hear back the following day with any concerns or problems we had on the property. This property met our needs and we would stay here again when visiting this area.

Colorado Wedding

We were in Colorado to attend my daughter's wedding. Joanne was available to answer any questions. The house was very comfortable and spacious, 7 adults & 1 child) We enjoyed the deck. My grandson loved the shuffle board table. Our group was able to enjoy horseback riding, zip line, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs (just minutes from the home).

Very Pleasent Stay

The property was clean and well taken care of. We had a great stay. My son got married in Colorado Springs and the VRBO house was a perfect fit for us. My Wife and I had the Master Bed rm and the 4 other bedrooms were just as comfortable as the master. The 1/2 duplex was just right. We ended up hosting a small party the evening of the wedding and we had enough room for guests to visit without feeling jammed in. Great place to stay.

Place was great, felt like hime. Was really hoping for snow, had to make d drive 2 hours to find snow so kids could play .

So good to hear these guests enjoyed their stay and felt at home! Although we did get a light snow fall Christmas Eve, travel to snow country is as close as Mueller State Park a 45 minute trip, but Breckinridge is a two hour drive. This family is welcome to come again!

Great location, attentive owner, deteriorating property

This property has many features that made it a great VRBO for my family while we waited for our house to close during our relocation to Colorado Springs. The miniature pool table and foosball table were a great addition that the children loved that they don't normally get to play with at home while they were already in disrepair they were functional enough for the kids to have fun. The neighborhood also had a number of children that immediately were happy to play with ours giving it a true family-friendly feel for the location. Unfortunately even though the overall space is more than adequate and meets expectations of things like size of bedrooms and amount of seating, the fit and finish of the property is in a decline state. Furnishings were not generally comfortable including both living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture. During our stay some of this furniture was updated however not to fully new furniture but rather just less old furniture than what was there when we started our stay. Ultimately the owner was very responsive both to text and messages within the VRBO platform before, during, and after; however that did not keep her from filing a damage claim weeks after our stay for items that were not previously discussed. Ultimately given the location, the relatively low cost of the rental, and other intangible factors, I would say that this rental should still be considered for your stay in Colorado Springs with the hope that the overall fit and finish of the property improves over time.

Colorado Spring

The duplex is spacious and located centrally for tourists near Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs and Cheyenne National Park. I would consider the duplex clean and in a safe neighborhood and served us well for the price. We were in town to site see and just used this to cook some dinner and sleep. This is not a luxury, high end stay. The carpets are worn and would be much better with some laminate which would be easier to maintain and provide a better appearance for the guest.. The furniture is not older and not all that comfortable. This is arid climate and landscaping is left to nature, mostly gravel. Overall I felt the duplex was fairly priced for the accomodations.

It is always good to hear comments from guests. I am glad they appreciated the value of the location, size of the home. They are right about the arid climate, but the reason for the gravel is the fire pit requires no vegetation within a 15 ft diameter. The rest of the back yard is patio with BBQ and seating for 12. The furniture is scheduled for an upgrade, but the summer has been so busy there has not been an extra day for the moving company to change everything out.
