We booked this property for a family vacation doing the Bourbon Trail. We knew it was an old 1900's home which is what drew us toward stating here, it's part of the old town charm. We had 7 of us and it is usually hard to find a place big enough to accomidate everyone comfortably, that was not the case here.
On top of it being very nice and well maintained on the inside it is also very spacious. The rooms are huge, which is not always the case with older houses, and beds were comfortable. There was pleanty of room to hang out, play cards, read or whatever else you might want to do without being on top of one another. We also really enjoyed sitting on the front porch which has a swing, lovseat and chairs.
Pam, the host, was very accomidating and answered any questions we had promptly and even suprized us with our first bottle of "Kentucky Juice"
The proximity to town is perfect with many stores and restaurants within a comfortable walking distance. Our son even found a walking trail not to far away to check out some nature.
If you are staying here for the Bourbon Trail be sure to check ot Jeptha Creek Distillery which is just 10 minutes away. We were really imressed with them and their bourbons.
