Nice and cozy for a couple or a solo traveler. It is behind the main house but it felt private and safe. Great communication with the host and check-in was easy.We will stay again!

A converted shed with inadequate insulation for the hottest part of the summer. Window A/C unit was inadequate to cool the entire shed so we closed off the closet and bathroom to get the main area to a decent temperature for two people to share a double bed. Said A/C is not run to a GFI outlet. It was plugged into a surge protector that would allow you to put at least six devices to draw off a single outlet. It naturally overloaded and caused a small fire leaving the property with no A/C for hours. When I got back that evening and called, the property manager ran an industrial extension cord to a separate non-gfi outlet. The next day they replaced the outlet (again with non-gfi) and a new six device surge protector, and a fire detector. I removed all my valuable belongings to a friend's apartment for safety. Also found several small roaches throughout the kitchen area daily.Pillows are super cheap and thin, bring your own. Bathroom has no exhaust fan so showers either steam up the whole shed or require you to open a window making the already struggling A/C worse.Property was otherwise clean. Great for the money, but be aware of what you're getting. Would reccomend not booking in the heat of the summer.

Cute little cottage

Definitely a good find. Only things I would suggest is to (1) have a walkway/path leading all the way to the cottage entrance rather than having to walk through the grass and (2) have some creamer for the coffee. Otherwise, it was a comfy and cozy cute little cottage.

Helping Mom with health issues - this was an oasis

See title. Needed a place close to my mom where I could work quietly when not taking her to appts or caring for her in her place. Owner/manager was helpful getting me set up in short notice and the place was perfect. Exactly what you see in the pictures. Will absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Tulsa. Thanks so much

Communication is key

Quaint "mother inlaw" cottage. Location for us was perfect without a binder full of rules to follow. Check in process superb. I stay at BNBs because I want the uniqueness, the charm and to support people who offer their homes up for travelers. I have stayed in roughly 30 BNBs in the last 10 years. Only 2, have left me leaving early and both were from VRBO and this was #2. I dont have unreasonable expectations but do expect some follow up to an email since that is the only communication link you have. This cottage advertised sleeps 3, I inquired, they said they have an air mattress. I searched hi and low, did not want to bother them unless necessary. No air mattress found or email replied to. Went an bought my own. Woke up morning 1 and had a "family" of cockroaches running from kitchen to living area along the walls. No email reply to this. Advertised a washer and dryer but at this point i had emailed 3x with no reply and contacted VRBO only to be told that I need to call the owner. Sorry we are day 2 into our 3 day stay. If they are not replying to emails or monitoring them, the only call I made was to book a hotel and left without staying for night 3. I can be ignored in person at a hotel for the same amount of $. I dont wish any ill will towards this owner. I only hope they learn from this and make the next persons experience a little better through better communication.

I absolutely loved my stay in the cottage. It was so comfortable (the bed was awesome!) and close to the Expo Center. It had everything I needed. I had a little issue and the host was fast to respond and assist. If I am back in Tulsa, I would love to stay there again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
