Our Home on the Cove ist ein Cottage mit 5 Schlafzimmern und Platz für eine 4-köpfige oder 15-köpfige Familie zum Joggen und Spielen. „The Pines“ bietet Platz für Volleyball, Tag, Hufeisen und Lagerfeuer sowie Liegestühle, auf denen das Wasser vorbeiziehen kann. Das Schwimmen in unserer Bucht ist eine Freude und das Sonnenbaden am Dock ist ebenso entspannend. Die eingezäunte Schaukel ist ein großartiger Ort, um die Kleinen spielen zu lassen. Seien Sie nicht überrascht, ein paar Fische, Krabben oder sogar eine Schildkröte direkt am Pier zu fangen. Wenn Sie im Kanu paddeln, haben Sie einen einzigartigen Blick auf unser Zuhause vom Wasser aus. Wenn Sie auf unserem Naturpfad wandern, erhalten Sie einen Einblick in die lokale Tierwelt. Wenn all diese Aktivitäten hungrig machen, ist die Küche mit ausreichend Kochgeschirr ausgestattet, um mehr als fünfzehn Personen zu ernähren. Essen Sie am Küchentisch oder auf der abgeschirmten Veranda. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit ist es ideal, die Sterne vom Dock aus zu beobachten oder ein Lagerfeuer zu machen! Unser Zuhause ist wirklich ein Ort, an dem man Erinnerungen sammeln kann.

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

Beautiful, private spot with amazing water access — beach and dock are a dream. Well-stocked with everything you need, plus three fridges and a handy outdoor bathroom. Bathrooms are large, though not as accessible for older guests. We’d happily book again!

Family Thanksgiving

This is a beautiful property and had enough space for our large family to come together and celebrate the holiday. Host was very responsive to questions in advance of our stay as well as helping us when the power went out.

My thots!

We liked the location but it was some harder to find then we thought. The house was roomy and we lived the screened in porch. We all liked the easy access to the bay and the boating and fishing were great! We also like jd the fire pit!

Quaint place on the Water

This house on the bay can fit a nice size family and has all you need. One of the most well stocked places I have stayed. There was equipment for cooking, playing, crabbing, fishing, boating and anything else you could think of. Host was very helpful and communicated very well with all my questions. Great place and will return another time.

Beautiful Views!

The outside area is everything you can ask for! Water front, lovely views of the water, wildlife, and boats. We loved the outside lights. The screen porch, all the seating, the fire pit and the play area were areas we spent most of our time. It made us want to come back during the summer! We loved the large kitchen space and the two fridges in the kitchen since we had Thanksgiving in the cottage. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We did not realize that one of the bathrooms was not accessible from the house and the other bathroom was upstairs. We did not have issues, but should be noted for family who may have mobility issues about having to use stairs to get to the bathroom. Because we had kids and adults, we would have liked another TV in the place for the evenings, but it did not ruin our time. We would stay there again.

Great Family Get Together & Wonderful Natural Setting

Enjoyed taking out the rowboat, and sitting on the dock watching the flock of geese fly in with daily morning visits. Watched a heron fishing by the dock (daily visitor). Hawks, crows and seagulls also live in area. Had a wonderful front row seat on screened in porch, to watch an evening thunder and lightning storm, otherwise it was a calm and peaceful view of the cove, and overall a very peaceful stay. Being tall, we found the full size beds small for us, but there was one queen bed my husband & I claimed. The 2nd bathroom in basement, only accessible by going outdoors, was an adjustment, but we got use to it, and totally understand if we were on the dock/boats or outdoors with kids, it is a great thing to have a bathroom so close to those outdoor activities with a big family group. Loved the privacy and peaceful setting.

Stunning vast wate front property

Every year I rent a different lake house in August. This is the first year I've rented a home on a cove in Maryland. This was probably the nicest bit of property I've stayed in over the last 10 years of renting. It had everything. Row boats canoes dock fishing gear life vests volleyball net fenced in wonderful playground for the children toys balls the list goes on and on. The home is just as described. Adequate to have big meals together and chill out in front of the TV or front porch or nighttime fishing on the pier. I understood beforehand about the second bathroom being in the bathroom with only access through the outside and that was fine. Because we had small children, the creaky stairs to go upstairs to the bathroom was a little troublesome. But I personally found where to set them going up and down. That made the least amount of squeaks. Lol. Because I had so many adults (not all at once thank goodness) the bedroom situation was a little bit tricky but we made it work and we only spent eight or less hours in the beds and the rest of the time mostly outside. The homeowners were the best you can ask for. Via text or email or in person, they were all so nice. We actually didn't need them for a single thing but they were so helpful with advice and tips on how to tie a good boat knot or best places and time to throw a fishing line, etc. I thank them for a thoroughly wonderful week stay.

More than we expected

upon arrival, I was blown away. The pictures did not do justice to the amount of property we had to host our wedding reception. The home and property were perfect. Every morning I sat outside and had my coffee and watched the osprey, Blue Herons, and Black squirrels in complete tranquility. I could not have asked for more. The children played in the water and did some fishing. We had so much fun. I hope to have an opportunity to come back next year for our family vacation. There are no words that could express how pleased we are with our stay. Thank you for opening your home for us to have such a wonderful experience.

Great place - lots of room

Our 7 high friends made this our home this past weekend and we had a blast and made many memories. We would definitely come back again. Love all the hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms, lots of counter space in the kitchen. The downstairs bathroom and shower were great - it’s gives you a bit more privacy too. The screened in porch was big enough for us all. We brought a boat and docked it at the property. The launch is very steep but nice to have on property. Recommend you add fans in to every room and have queen instead of full beds if possible. Thank you!

River House Paradise

This is our 4th year in a row of staying at the river house. It is an amazing set up for a family of any size (our crew is 10 people), including the dogs and the boat! It's like stepping back in time, with a completely peaceful property, great house and convenient to everything you might need. We will be staying again next year for sure!

Cottage Stay

Nice location, but NO bathroom on the first level. Luckily my 96 year old Mother decided not to join us on the trip, for she would of not been able to climb the stairs or go outside to the basement for the bathroom use. Might want to include that in the description of the location to prevent problems in the future.

A great family holiday gathering!

This VRBO home has everything you might need to make a large group happy. The beautiful setting on water and within a lovely neighborhood made us feel safe and had easy access to being outdoors. We spent time making meals, playing music and doing puzzles. The open layout with a large kitchen (two refrigerators!) and family sized table worked well for our gathering of twelve adults. The heating system and bedrooms were comfortable and the water pressure and shower heads worked great. No complaints at all. Only surprise was the drawback that using the second bathroom, meant going outside. It was a lovely space and with a coat and shoes was not a problem. Just not made clear in the description! Thank you again! We had a wonderful time!
