Nightmare Experience
Ironically, We were not given any access codes to the rental until after 7 PM Friday. And the codes were not the correct ones.when I finally got them! i was not going to drive several hours to the rental without being given proper access info, so we waited to leave later and we arrived trying to get into the rental at 1 AM instead at 4 PM on Friday. It’s dark driving up a mountain at 1 AM. We arrived to a rental w no running water to kitchen, bathrooms, no toilets, no showers. At first early Friday I was not given access codes as they needed to do an identity check from a strange mysterious number that VRBO never confirmed was the contact info of the rental. Being that I reserved my rental was through VRBO, I should have had continuity between the hosts VRBO to direct numbers especially in a day where there is cell phone cloning and identity scams, I was never able to confirm that the ppl on the phone text had any connection w my reservation w VRBO other than them claiming they were Vacasa but any clone number would do the same. I received no access codes even though we completed an identity through the phone number VRBO gave for Vacasa customer service until after 7 PM. Ironically the text even said we could get early arrival but we could not even get access info the day before. I spent many hours contacting the host, VRBO and Vacasa instead of enjoying my trip in the rental. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE w no response on the concerns!!!
