The Neighborhood:
Our property is located in the beautiful northwest region of Puerto Rico, in the coastal town of Isabela — home to some of the island’s most stunning beaches, including Jobos, Shacks, and Montones. The area is peaceful, safe, and family-friendly, with light traffic and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for beach lovers.

Most residents speak Spanish and English, and you’ll find a welcoming local community. Several restaurants, beach bars, and cafés are within walking distance, where you can enjoy authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and oceanfront dining.

For exploring the area and nearby attractions, we recommend renting a car, as it’s the easiest way to discover all the natural wonders, beaches, and hidden spots around Isabela and beyond. Puerto Rico is a small island, so getting around is easy and every drive offers scenic coastal views.

Getting Around:
There is no public transportation in this area, so we recommend renting a car for the best experience. Driving around Isabela and the northwest coast is easy, with well-marked roads and all major attractions available on GPS or Google Maps. Parking is free and convenient both at the property and most nearby beaches and restaurants.

Other Things to Note:
Beachfront Living

Staying by the ocean is a unique and beautiful experience, but it differs from city or countryside living. Our property sits on Puerto Rico’s northwest coast, where a steady ocean breeze (10–20 mph) carries fine salt and sand inland.
Because of these natural conditions, you may notice sticky surfaces, salt traces, or mild rust on metal items, fans, or AC units. Floors may feel slightly slippery, and window glass may show light stains despite regular cleaning.
We perform a full cleaning after every checkout and re-inspect before your arrival, but these effects are part of authentic beachfront life and vary depending on each unit’s location within the complex.

Local Beaches

Puerto Rico’s beaches offer incredible variety.

North and East coasts – generally wavier.

South and West coasts – calmer most of the year.

The beach directly in front of the complex is not suitable for swimming, but when conditions are calm, you may find a shallow tide pool between the reef and shore.

Jobos Beach – ⅔ mile east (walkable, sandy, and vibrant).

Shacks Beach – 1.5 miles west (great for snorkeling).

Montones and Teodoro Beaches – 5 minutes by car, calm ponds for swimming.

Crash Boat Beach (Aguadilla) – 20 minutes by car, popular for swimming and photos.

Always check swell conditions before entering the water and avoid swimming when waves are large.

About Bugs and Wildlife

Puerto Rico’s tropical climate supports many insects and animals.
We professionally spray our apartments monthly, yet occasional sightings of ants, mosquitoes, or small insects are normal, especially after rain.

After an afternoon rain, you may notice flying insects in the evening that are naturally attracted to light. To prevent them from entering, please keep all doors and windows closed and limit bright lights inside and outside the unit. Some insects may still find their way indoors briefly, which is normal in tropical beachfront environments.

You may also encounter iguanas, stray cats or dogs, or small rodents outdoors. They are generally harmless—please do not feed or pet them.

Storms and Hurricane Season

Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.
We strongly recommend travel insurance for all guests, especially during this period. Refunds for storms or rain are not available unless a major event disrupts essential utilities.
If power or water are interrupted for more than 24 hours, we will offer a 25% nightly-rate discount, prorated by the hours affected.
No refunds are issued for internet outages.

Flight Cancellations

Airline delays or cancellations are outside our control.
Please review our cancellation policy before booking and consider purchasing travel insurance to cover flight disruptions or unexpected changes. This will help protect your investment and minimize stress.

Utilities

Electricity and water in Puerto Rico are generally reliable, but brief outages may occur.
If a disruption lasts more than 24 hours, we will apply a 25% discount on the affected nights (calculated by hours without service).
Internet stability can vary; refunds are not offered for connectivity issues.

Swimming Pool and Common Areas

Pool hours are managed by the condominium administration. The pool is usually open but may close temporarily for maintenance or safety reasons.
Please be courteous to staff—they’ll gladly share updates on reopening times.
To ensure a pleasant experience, read the Swimming Pool Rules displayed at the pool gazebo area, as security and administration actively enforce them.
Beach access is available through the wooden bridge located in the center of the complex.
No refunds or discounts apply if the pool is unavailable during your stay.

Sports Courts

The condominium features tennis and basketball courts; however, availability may vary due to maintenance. Please verify access upon arrival.

Property Care

Each apartment is individually owned and fully equipped with essentials such as towels, cookware, and utensils.
Please ensure all provided items remain inside the apartment.
We invest significant effort to maintain these homes—thank you for treating them with care.
Permanent stains (for example, makeup) or damaged items beyond normal wear and tear will be charged at replacement cost.

This place was pristine! The roof deck was to die for. The proximity to beach and pool plus the food trucks and Jobos Beach bars and restaurants made it feel all inclusive. I STILL miss the four-poster king bed with the ocean view a week later. Hosts were very responsive. We had an amazing time in Isabela.

Beautiful area

5 of us stayed here for 4 nights and we very much enjoyed the area. The condo is nicely upgraded, with several A/C units that all work very well. The views are outstanding, and the condo is spacious with many areas for privacy and stretching out, including the large upper patio. Nice supply of towels, but very limited toilet paper.Some drawbacks: no dishwasher and you are expected to wash dishes ( I don't even do that when I'm NOT on vacation! A rental of this caliber should have a dishwasher in my opinion!) The beach out front is gorgeous, and while it is a very nice walk to the main Jobos beach, the listing says one minute, which is by no means accurate!! It is more like a 10-15 minute walk. Check in/out was seamless and hosts were easy to communicate with, complex was quiet, seemed well secured and safe and family friendly. Great selection of restaurants close by to choose from and we didn't come close to getting to try everywhere we would have liked!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. The location was so perfect being on the beach, but also not being a super crowded and busy beach made it so relaxing. The size of the condo was perfect and it fit my family of 7 comfortably. Plenty of things to do around the condo but the views from the condo are unbeatable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for places to stay on the island.

Amazing place!

We loved our stay. We had 8 adults (all family). We spent every evening after dinner on the upstairs patio. The ocean views and souds were spectacular! The apartment fit us all comfortably and it was suoer clean. The owner was very responsive. It took about 20 minutes to walk to Playa Jobos (via the beach) and spent a lot of time there. Lots of beautiful beaches and delicious rest in the area. We woukd definitely stay herr again!

The property, grounds and location were amazing. The patio was amazing although we didn’t use it as much as we hoped as we had very windy weather while we were there. The pool area and complex grounds were nice. Everything seemed in good condition. The kitchen in the unit itself was a little small to cook for our group of 7 and was short on coffee mugs and plates but we bought a few at the grocery store to leave in the unit. All in all it was a beautiful place and we would recommend to others.

This property was very clean and tidy. Check in was easy. The ice maker didn't work, so I contacted Arnoldo when we checked in, and he responded that someone would come the next morning. We never heard from anyone after that and so we bought a bag of ice. A few repairs were needed (a vanity door in the Main Bedroom/Bathroom, the large shade cover on the lovely big round sofa on the patio was shredded and we couldn't get the patio lights to work). I felt like it was a bit sterile. We didn't like the fact that there were no scrub pads to clean the pots, pans and dishes, yet all dishes are expected to be cleaned. Also, with the salty/sandy air, they have no glass cleaner for you to use. None of these things kept us from being comfortable. The location is amazing and the kitchen was well equipped.
