This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, top-floor condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, twin-over-twin Murphy bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features beautiful views of Keystone Lake and the surrounding mountains through oversized windows. Ideally located in Lakeside Village, you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities. The walking path is just outside the building and will take you to a variety of amenities on the lake. The East Lake clubhouse, just a short walk from the back door, is included in your stay. It offers an indoor swimming pool hot tub, sauna, bathrooms and an outdoor barbecue area.

The living area features updated hardwood flooring, a flat screen TV next to a beautiful gas fireplace, a picture frame window offering beautiful mountain and lake views, and vaulted ceilings. Enjoy game night with the whole family with a Wii, Wii games, and board games for guest use. There is a twin-over-twin Murphy bed and a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping arrangements. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and overlooks Keystone Lake with beautiful mountain views beyond. Watch the ducks swim by or the paddle boats float across the lake from the comfort of your own balcony.

The remodeled, full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. It features quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and maple cabinets. Additionally, there is a breakfast bar with additional seating for two available. The dining area comfortably seats four and looks out over the lake through the picture frame window.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed with Ivory White Bedding and a flat screen TV. The bedroom has its own entrance to the guest bathroom and its own private single sink vanity. There is also ample space for storage. There is a folding crib for families traveling with babies in the closet. The full bathroom features quartz counter tops, brand new tiling and has a single sink vanity for guests. A door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

Please note this is a 4th floor unit. There is elevator in the building, but it is down for maintenance a couple times per year. There is one parking spot in the garage for guest use.

The details matter
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit needs to be inspected after guests leave. I know a cleaning crew comes in, but the unit should be inspected by the management company. There is a 6 hour window before guests arrive. The details matter. Upon arrival we had no ski locker keys and we did not receive a pool key until our last day. The radiator is falling apart. The cabinets and drawers in the kitchen are falling apart. The towel hook does not hang on the door correctly in the bathroom, it needs to be fixed. There are no chairs on the porch and no potholders in the kitchen. The fan is disgusting- it has not been cleaned. Finger prints on the TV and fridge, crumbs on the floor. There is a set of old blinds in the window that look like they would have fallen down if we used them. Something gross on the side of the couch. Sending a text asking if everything is ok is not sufficient. No one wants to be disturbed while they are on vacation. Things should just be done. That’s what guests expect. We are paying money to stay in a unit that should be maintained. Unit should be checked and updated and things should be fixed when they are broken. The details matter.

Great place for a family trip
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great check-in experience. Made it fast and easy to pickup the keys and get in the room. Garage was great so we didn't have to remove ice/snow from the car. Loved the view of the lake and got my kids excited to ice skate. Good shuttle service to Keystone and good dining options. Big heated pool was great after a day in the snow.

Several problems during atay
I texted more than 24 hours in advance (per the management policy) to see if we could get an early check in for $15/hour. No response. I texted back when our flight landed to Inquire again. We did get a response at that point, but it was irritating to not know if we could check in early until the 11th hour. Especially with 2 little kids. The instructions to use the garage were incorrect. After trying for a while, I figured out how to open it thru VRBO reviews. Only to find out our small car wouldn't fit. The TV in the living area wouldn’t work. My kids get up around 6 am, and I planned to let them watch TV to buy me time to sleep in a bit. Since that wasn’t an option, we were all up bright and early. I texted management the first morning to let them know. Somebody finally came out to fix it around 4:30 pm the following day. So obviously, no sleeping in that day either. The condo was extremely hot. 81 degrees, to be exact. We turned the heat off, tried turning on the air, and eventually left the door to the patio open in attempts to cool things down. Still stayed in the 80s. Management’s response was to crack a window. Didn’t work. Couldn’t sit on the balcony to cool down since both chairs were broken. The bunk beds are horrible for kids. The railing isn’t attached. It comes out and is a terrible pinch/fall hazard. The hair dryer worked for 1 minute at a time and would shut off for a good 10 minutes. I told management. No response. Wet hair in CO is far from ideal.

Beautiful Space - Still Disappointed
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space is modern and would be great for a family with no very young children. Had everything we needed to cook and great views of the lake. Proximity to the resort and the shuttle just out front were awesome.Issues:-There was a ton of snow (awesome of course) while we were here and our van didn't fit in the garage because of a storage cabinet. If you end up assigned parking space 8 like us and bring anything larger than a big sedan (we were in a Chrysler Pacifica minivan) they will basically tell you that you're out of luck and have to park outside.-The heating never consistently worked while we were there, even after maintenance claims to have stopped by while we were out. -At the time of our stay the listing said there was a folding crib and there wasn't one. Luckily because we were transferring to another rental without one after our stay here was over we had our pack and play for our 4-month old to sleep in. -The broken chairs on the balcony mentioned by a reviewer in I think February '24 were still broken. As mentioned by another reviewer with how much you're paying for these places you would expect better.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance.
