Thank you so much for your honest feedback Julie. We appreciate you staying with us and as the property manager (Elisabeth) I truly appreciate your kind words about my work. I just wanted to mention a few things in regards to your cons. I’m a Realtor and the pricing is much higher during this time of the year due to like you said being prime location, literally walking distance to the venue is quite unbeatable in my opinion. That drives the price to where it’s at as well as being a beautiful vacation rental of course. In addition to that, it states on our listing that our home is mid century which means it was built in the 60’s which means, smaller bathrooms. With that said, we have pretty on point photos that show the size of the vanity and shower prior to booking. I do apologize if this was not up to your personal standards. Next- all of our bedrooms have black out blinds. The living room, kitchen and dining area does not have blinds because we like to enjoy the beautiful view and we don’t want people to close up all the blinds and throw a party. The windows are tinted from the outside of the house and you actually can’t see into the home during the day. We do all of this for precaution to protect the home from invaders or bad guests. In regards to street noise, we personally as the owners sleep here all the time and it’s never been an issue for us. I’m sure for light sleepers, I could see how that might cause an issue but to be honest, we have only gotten this complaint one other time out of being a host for 3 years. Just want to make that clear for anyone who reads this review. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to host you again!!!
