The pool can be heated during winter months when the natural pool temperature drops due to lower outside air temperatures. When heated, the temperature will be maintained between 84-88 degrees. We generally recommend that the pool be heated October 15th through May 31st in order to be a comfortable swimming temperature. To ensure the pool is heated for your arrival we require a minimum 3 day advance notice. If you decide to take advantage of the optional pool/spa heat it is required for the entire duration of your stay, it can not be turned on and off daily.

Everything about this trip exceeded our expectations. The management company was very thorough and friendly. They worked with us on an early arrival and late checkout. They gave us a tour of the entire property, which is extensive because the home is huge and has every amenity one could ever want. We will definitely look to stay here again should we come back to AZ.

Terrible Experience: Hostile Management and Unsanitary Conditions

Upon arrival, we were met by an irate and hostile property manager. From the outset, she repeatedly accused us of planning a party, incessantly stressing the presence of security. Her aggressive attitude made our stay extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The entire property was covered in pigeon poop, and the laundry room's washer and dryer both smelled like mildew. As a result, all of our clothes and towels had the same rotten water and mildew odor. Our repeated offers to pay for a later checkout were blatantly ignored. To make matters worse, we left our Dyson hair dryer at the property and we have been unable to retrieve it. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and we will definitely not be returning to this property.

The Fun House

Our grandkids have labeled this the fun house saying it’s the best house ever. We rent houses at the beach in the summer & in the Phoenix valley in October every year to gather family since we have 2 adult children on the east coast and 5 in the valley. The cousins love getting together!! The pickle ball court and the pool were the major hits. The adults loved the outside seating with tvs for sports games. Plenty of space inside and out for eating although we never used the dining room except for those needing to work while here. Beautiful house & grounds; the gardener needs to take better care of the outside plants. As an unprofessional gardener myself, it was sad to see plants dying for lack of water. I’m sure the dried foliage hinders the pool care takers too. The management team was very responsive to any concerns. The Scottsdale ordinances create limitations on number of people that we don’t experience at the beach houses in SC. We never generate noise concerns in spite of our large number of people.
