Charmantes Haus am Wasser hat einen leichten Hang zum Wasser mit spektakulären breiten Wasserhauptkanal Blick. Eine geräumige offene Grundriss mit 2800 sq. Ft auf 2 Ebenen, mit 1.400 sq. Ft auf der oberen Ebene und 1.400 sq. Ft auf der unteren Ebene. Das Haus verfügt über See vom Boden bis zur Decke reichenden Fenster in der gesamten oberen Etage offenen Grundriss, einen 46 "Flachbildschirm im Obergeschoss und einen 55" Flachbildschirm auf der unteren Ebene TV / VCR / DVD, eine komplett neu renovierte ausgestattete Gourmet-Küche, Ess- Bereich und großen Raum. Die Master-Suite mit Badewanne und einer zweiten (im Obergeschoss) Schlafzimmer mit Bad die obere Ebene abzuschließen. Eine Plattform, die über die gesamte Länge des Hauses verläuft bietet eine zusätzliche Fläche zum Entspannen und Essen im Freien. Auf der unteren Ebene befinden sich zwei zusätzliche Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, ein Familienzimmer mit TV / VCR / DVD, ein Kickertisch und zwei (2) zusätzliche Schlafbereiche. WOW!! What a GREAT stay we had at this house in Smith Mountain Lake. Tom, the owner, was so communicative and responded so quickly to everything! He definitely delivered first class service!! The house itself was wonderful!! So well stocked! Even had a crock pot, which most places rarely do! We were blown away with the kitchen and all that was in it! If you are thinking about staying here...do it!! You will 100% not be disappointed. We filled the entire house with people and it never felt tight! The details we received before showing up were so helpful and Tom thought of EVERYTHING!! The dock was so nice and added bonus with all the 'toys' we had access too!! We rented jetskis and the dock was perfect for parking them!! I am so thrilled we stayed here!! Would definitely come back if we are ever in Smith Mountain Lake again!

We had a blast! The view was gorgeous. We really appreciated all of the extra cooking supplies, storage containers, and toiletries. It all came in handy with our family. The prevalence of deer was a huge hit with the kiddos.

Wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay on Smith Mountain Lake at this wonderful property! I have never seen a rental kitchen so well stocked. The owner was helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Rented this property for a friends reunion we do every year in different locations. This property was everything it was advertised to be. It was spacious and accommodating for 7 adults. The views were amazing and the amenities were beyond satisfactory. This rental was, by far, the best interaction with a host that I’ve ever had. The owner was accessible, flexible, and helped us however we needed. If I ever return to Moneta, this is the property I will book.

This was a great vacation home. It is newly remodeled with great views from inside the house. We had 4 couples (8 adults) and were all very comfortable. The highlight is the patio with an awesome fire pit with beautiful sunset views and the huge dock with space to dock both of our boats and still have room to fish and just sit and enjoy the view. The owner's communication was fantastic. We reached out due to one minor issue, but he responded very quickly, was on top of it, and had it fixed within a couple hours. I highly recommend staying at this house.

Lake Vacation

The house was extremely clean and well cared for by the owner. Everyone in my group had a great time. There were nine of us and we still had room to spare. We had a great time with the kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boat. Our visit was over the Memorial Day weekend and the weather was a little chilly but that didn’t keep us out of the water! We highly recommend this property!!

Fabulous Place on the Lake

Look no further...this place provides a perfect family weekend at the lake! We enjoyed kayaking and sitting down on the dock until sunset. Dinner by fire pit, and then cuddled up on the sofa for a movie. We loved it!

Great Vacation Home

Thank you so much for the wonderful accomodations. The house had EVERYTHING you could possibly want and then some. The dock was great, the kids loved it and spent countless hours jumping and swimming when we were not boating. The location is convenient to everything, and a very beautiful spot. We would highly recommend this rental to everyone we know, we really enjoyed ourselves.

SML bliss

We love this house. The owner is very informative about everything and can be easily reached. The house is well stocked with everything. Our niece who lives in Roanoke came to visit with her little boys one day, and the kids all loved playing on the mat in the lake. It’s a quick trip to the marina where we can rent a boat.

Awesome house

We enjoyed our week at SML and the house was perfect for our family of 11. There were plenty of beds and plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The location was great - close to Food Lion and restaurants and a gorgeous view with a quiet cove for swimming. Loved all the water toys and used them all - kayaks, paddleboards, floats and paddle boat. The walk from house to Lake was also ideal for the seniors that were with us. Not too long or too steep. Tom was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely go back.

Fantastic Rental

We stayed with some friends over a long weekend, and our experience with this property could not have been better! The house was roomy, with plenty of space for people to spread out; clean and very well-kept. The house is located right on the water, with beautiful views of the lake, especially in the evenings. Things that were notable: the owners have installed a very large dock umbrella to provide protection during the day, and provide chairs, kayaks and noodles for use; hot tub; a large backyard for outdoor games; property is only 5-10 min. from several grocery stores, restaurants and a winery! The owners were great to work with, we definitely hope to come back. Thanks Tom!

What a beauty spot!

We arrived this house around evening. As soon as we walked in, we were attracted by incredible sun set right across the glass doors! Without wasting a minute, we opened a bottle of wine, grabbed few glasses, then sat on the deck chairs... our enjoyment has began! I really don't have to mention how well the house is equipped, enough rooms and beds sufficient for up to 12 people, how nice the owner's communication was -- these already supported by other people's reviews -- only with the breath taking view of sun set, you won't get it wrong!

Couldnt be better!

Our stay was AMAZING! It was my birthday/anniversay weekend so we decided to get a group of 12 friends together to celebrate! It was so much fun! The house is gorgeous and spotless! The hot tub was fun to use! The hot tub was put to good use also! We brought our two boats with us and the dock was perfect for keeping them there! If we were not out on the boats we were laying out on the floating dock! I can not express how perfect this weekend was! Tom and Tara were fabulous to work with! Everytime I had a question, they were their for us! We are already planning a trip for next year!

A Great Family Get-Away!

We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving 2011 in this wonderful home. We enjoyed a family get-together coming from Baltimore, northern Virginia, and Virginia Beach. We had plenty of space for the six adults and five children. The kids took over the downstairs level and were able to spread out in the bedrooms as well as bunk bed nook. We were so lucky with the unseasonably warm weather (highs in the low 80s!) We spent our days kayaking in the water, hiking in the state park, reading on the porch and dock, visiting the dam, and preparing for a Thanksgiving foosball tournament! We also enjoyed the hot tub. The view of the water was amazing and the sunsets were like nothing I've ever seen. Tom was so accommodating and easy to work with. The home is lovely and well appointed, and we hope to return again soon!
