The house is beautiful, well maintained, laid out nicely, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, very fun to eat outside. The lake is CLEAR and the town is so close. We loved it!

We had a great time in Grand Rapids! We really appreciated being on the lake and quite close to town. The property and home were great. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the outside lounge area.Heads-up that it is 46 steps down to the shore (& back up!). We could tell there were stairs, but didn't realize the extent. One of our group had recent knee surgery, so they unfortunately couldn't make it to the shore this stay.

This cabin is beautiful and perfect for fun lake days!

Everyone in your family will love this cabin. It's not just "modern", it's beautifully remodeled with upscale touches that go way beyond "cabin". Immaculately clean and well maintained, much better than other cabins we've seen on pokegama. Location was perfect for all our jet ski and pontoon needs, including taking the water route to pickled loon and zorbaz. kitchen is very well designed with top quality appliances (great washer and dryer too). Our host Dan made sure we had firewood and a safe fire ring for nightly smores with great view of sunset over the lake. We had other family staying in other cabins around the lake and none compared to how nice ours was. Highest recommendation, and thank you Dan.

Great stay with family

We had a great time with our kids and family. The house was very clean and well stocked with extras like popcorn, s’mores kit, etc. The upstairs was almost like its own little living area with couch, tv, two bedrooms, and bathroom. The outdoor space and fire pit were great also. Nice table, outdoor couch and even a tv. Honestly the only downfall to the entire place Is the dock situation for the boat. The lift was not in great shape and I needed to buy extra boat bumpers to even think about leaving my boat in at the dock. Also some steep steps down to the lake, which is fine by me, but could be problematic if people have limited mobility. This was a great house and stay. Would recommend to any family .

Delightful lake visit

This was the perfect home away from home cabin for our family gathering. The bedrooms worked perfectly for us and the kitchen was well equipped. The views of the lake were stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back. Many thanks to the owners.

Perfect in every way!

We stayed for a week with 4 adults and 5 children and had an absolute blast. The upstairs area was perfect for the kids and the downstairs had beautiful views of the lake. We took full advantage of the outdoor space as well! Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful spot for a family get-together!

The location on Lake Pokegama was a big plus - the lake is beautiful and clean with public sandy beaches and has boat-in restaurants. The house has great spaces for groups to gather both inside and outside. The outside deck and firepit were a favorite for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and supplies. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Must stay

We stayed with a group of 9 ages 30+. There was plenty of room for everyone and we felt as if we were staying in a luxury home that was comfortable and spacious. Our jaws were on the floor upon entrance. Water is clear and the location was convenient for our needs. We rented a pontoon from R&R rental which is 2 miles from the home. We used Rapid taxi and had a great experience as well. Zorbas is a couple minutes right down the lake to the right. Would love to stay again.

Comfortable and Charming Lake Home

Our party enjoyed the beautiful home on the lake. The decor is splendid and the accommodations are comfortable and charming. However, since our visit was focused on Swan Lake in Pengilly, we didn’t spend a lot of time there. After breakfast each day, we didn’t return until late in the evening. Nevertheless, we were privileged to stay in such a lovely home. Thank you.
