The Space:

A renovated single story bungalow with calming coastal decor.



The king bedroom and queen bedroom each have their own character, with soft coastal tones throughout. The living room has a big screen TV and a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooked meals, with a dinette that seats four. A dining area seats six.



Outside, a screened porch and a fenced backyard with a fire pit give you room to relax, and the home sits an easy walk from Thunderbolt's restaurants and the river.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the house, the backyard, and the driveway. Up to two cars fit in the driveway and one more on the street.



The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Please keep noise down, and no parties or events without checking with us first.



The Neighborhood:

The home is in Thunderbolt, a historic waterfront village with working marinas, about 10 minutes from Downtown Savannah and 20 to 25 minutes from Tybee Beach. Restaurants, a grocery store, and entertainment are nearby and walkable. A Publix is about 6 minutes away.



Getting Around:

A car or rideshare is the easiest way to get around between Downtown Savannah and Tybee Island, since the roads connecting them do not have sidewalks. Within Thunderbolt itself, the streets are walkable. The nearest urgent care is about 6 minutes away in Whitemarsh.



Other Things to Note:

Parking: up to two cars in the driveway and one on the street, no more than three vehicles total.



Pets: dog friendly only, one dog, with a pet fee of $50 per day.



Bug spray is recommended when spending time outdoors.



Interaction with Guests:

We live close by and are available day and night by phone or through the app.
