This is a great house for families and couples who want to getaway to the peaceful Northern Neck, Virginia. We have paid attention to details that make for an enjoyable stay. The mattresses are new, the linens are high end and all the details are handled. Our dock is great for fishing and the sun. If the heat is too much, swim. Tie a raft to the dock and float your day away. Kayaks and Paddle Board provided.

We had a great stay. At one point he heat went out and we were out for the day and they had the issue fixed before we returned how. The home was very nice and the extra space was very relaxing. Our stay was extended with no problem. We would defiantly stay here again when in the area.

Peaceful and relaxing

Our family enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week at this property. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. We enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor games and activities that are provided by the owner. We spent several days on the personal dock on the property enjoying the water and kayaking. We are the owners of Edgewater Retreat and Waterside. We are both professionals based in Washington, DC. We have a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and slower pace of life that the Northern Neck of Virginia offers, and have a passion for sharing this beautiful place.

Our love for the area began in 2016 when we purchased our first home in the Northern Neck, which quickly became our go-to escape from city life. When the pandemic hit, we were fortunate to have this peaceful retreat to spend time with our family and strengthen our roots in the community. It was during this time that we decided to create another home for our family and yours to escape to, which led to the creation of Edgewater Retreat.

We are dedicated to providing our guests with the best possible experience, which is why we've paid attention to every detail in our home to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
