Barndominium Farmhouse

Family owned and built for 3 generations since 1978. Located in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest, The Green Farm offers 200 acres of private land to explore! Featuring bluffs, ATV/four-wheeler trails, hiking trails, fishing pond, two natural wells, a spring house and more, there are an abundance of activities to do right in the back yard of this farm.

This farm is a perfect getaway if you are looking to be off-the-grid but still within driving distance to town! There is plenty of room to tent camp or park a camper. Otherwise, the farm house itself offers 3 bedrooms and 1 private room with a pullout couch, 2 full sized bathrooms, one full kitchen and a kitchenette, 2 living rooms including the grand trophy room with couches that recline out flat, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The Green Farm has central heating and air, 3 TVs, and phone service. There is one air mattress provided.

For your enjoyment, outside the house you can find a grill and a smoker, a covered patio with chairs and a firepit perfect for gathering under the night sky. You can also enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks on the covered front porch with a scenic view!

For water activities, The Green Farm is within a 30 minute drive from Lusk Creek Kayak/Canoe Access Point, The Scenic Ohio River and Golconda Marina, Bell Smith Springs, Dixon Springs, Lake Glendale, Pounds Hollow, and more.

For hiking/rocking climbing activities, The Green Farm is within a 30 minute drive from Burden Falls, Jackson Falls, Jackson Hole, Sand Cave, Rim Rock Trails, Garden of the Gods and more.

Miscellaneous activities in the area also include horseback riding trails, mountain biking trails, nightlife and restaurants, River to River Marathon (seasonal), nearby local/seasonal festivals, wine trails and more.

**The Green Farm is 5.5 miles to the nearest rural town, 14.5 miles to the nearest hospital.
**Though there is plenty of room for campers and RVs, we do not offer any hookups.
**Phone service works but is spotty in some areas of the house and surrounding areas. (this is based on Verizon Services)
**There is a small creek/water that runs over the front part of the driveway. 4WD is not necessary but we advise no low riding cars.
**We welcome any motor vehicles or animals, but we ask that you are respectful of all wildlife and the space/furniture/decorations inside the house. Limit 2 big dogs or 3 small dogs.
