Finding the cabin was very difficult. With no phone service in the area, no signage, or lighting, we struggled for over a half hour trying to find it. Ended up parking and walking with a flashlight down the narrow driveway to eventually find it. The written directions were not very useful and it would have been nice to know the day before leaving that we needed to print them and the referenced arrival photos which we never received. At the lockbox, there is no lighting, again needed our light to obtain the key. Once inside the musty odor hits hard. It’s a dank smell that permeated every fabric. The couch, cushions and all bedding carried the odor. Made everything feel and smell less than clean. The rusted refrigerator was an eye sore, adding to the “ugh” feeling. Decor is ok, the Beatles posters are wrinkled from humidity and age, giving off a dollar store vibe. Interior lighting is also quite poor as the bathroom vanity light in both bathrooms did not work. The showers are teeny-tiny. Outside, lighting to the dock is poor - we again relied on our light. The view of the water from the back is a bit obscured from the overgrowth which really needs a trim. Overall, it was fine for our purpose but not a place I’d want to spend any real time in.
