Die Hauptebene hat eine Flur Bad, ein tolles Zimmer mit Kamin mit hohen Decken, schöne Mahagoni-Einbauten und Mahagoni Holzböden. Der Speisesaal Sitzplätze 12, hat einen Kamin und Französisch Türen, die zu einer übergroßen Deck für Outdoor-Unterhaltungen zu verlassen. Die gut ausgestattete Küchenchef verfügt über kundenspezifische Schränke, einen 24 "Weinkühler, Granit-Arbeitsplatten und neue Geräte. Darüber hinaus hat die erste Etage eine gnädige Master-Suite mit eigenem Deck. Unparalleled lodging

From the first moment of contact with the owner, Brin, when I booked our stay she was welcoming and accommodating. We traveled to Marist College for my daughter’s graduation and we had 3 grandparents as well as our 5 year old grandson. The space this home afforded us was perfect for our family and then extended family to enjoy during our stay and a post graduation BBQ. Only 26-30 minutes from Marist this home allowed us to all be under one roof and have plenty of space to stretch out over the weekend. Brin was wonderful for allowing us an earlier than normal check in due to our 3 hour drive to get to the event from our home on Long Island. She told us to use the whole house, anything in the pantries AND whatever spices we might need for the BBQ. Luckily we brought everything we needed, but we did take her up on using some of her Garlic and Sea Salt for the chicken and steaks! Check out was very easy as Brin didn’t give us a specific time but we got on the road early to beat the Sunday traffic through the city bridges. The grandparents, who are in their 80’s appreciated the 1st and second floor master bedrooms with attached baths so they had privacy. We actually didn’t use 2 of the bedrooms but should anyone have wanted to stay over after the Saturday BBQ it was. I’ve to know we could offer a bed to them. Thank you Brin for a great graduation weekend!

gorgeous cozy house

We, a family of 10, ages from 2 to 83, stayed in Brin's gorgeous and cozy house full of love, great energy and art. Everyone loved the beds and luxurious bedding. Kitchen is sooo well stock!!!! Cutlery, any size pots and pans, various size glasses and cups!!!! And long nice wooden table to have wonderful family meals and make amazing memories. Thank you sooo much, Brin for sharing your house with us Irina and family

New Years Weekend

Our group of 3 families had a wonderful long weekend celebrating together at this lovely property. There was more than enough space for all of us to relax, cook, dine and spend time together and the home was fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The location was also great with easy access to multiple towns, restaurants, breweries, hiking trails etc. communication with Brin was quick and easy and she offered us tremendous accommodations throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering.

Thanksgiving stay

The house is spacious and great for groups to stay there. It’s in a quiet neighborhood that is further away from city and if you like nature and woods , it’s a great place. Our group really enjoyed staying there especially with fireplace and cold weather in November.

Great host and good communication

We got together with friends and family and it was great time spent in this well decorated home. We had plenty of space for everyone. The number of bath rooms helped too. Hostess was very good with communication and restaurant suggestions. Very pleased.

Fantastic Family Time!

This was one of the best VRBO stays ever! The house was more than we could have hoped for- as we gathered for our Thanksgiving with family. Plenty of rooms for everyone, a kitchen stocked beyond our expectations- a roaring fire every day and so comfortable! Felt like home! Brin is an amazing host, completely accessible, and made this stay very special for us all. We will absolutely stay here again and again if she will have us!

Perfect for a large family group

We enjoyed and were very comfortable in this large house. For a group of 9 adults, it was very spacious. Everyone had their privacy, and there were many areas downstairs (living room, dining room, porch) that were also comfortable spaces for the group to gather. There were ample bed linens and towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, everything we needed. We cooked several times. It was quiet and peaceful back in the woods. The artwork and architectural features of the home were interesting and sparked some good conversations. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful week in a quiet country setting. Thank you!

Serene Escape

This property is exactly as it looks in the pictures….beautiful! Lovely house with plenty of space indoors and outdoors for 10 seniors to enjoy an extended weekend. Fabulous collection of artwork everywhere, a surprise around each corner. Located near Rhinebeck with lots of attractions nearby. Our hostess Brin responded immediately to a problem with a ceiling fan and sent someone right away to replace it. Highly recommend this property if you want a serene escape in the woods.

More than advertised!

Brins home was incredible for my group of 12 women. Her kitchen is stocked with every gadget and appliance you could need, the home is beautifully laid out with plenty of space, and the art is eclectic and fun! As many reviews have said, the pictures do not do it justice. Brin is very communicative before and during the stay. I look forward to returning in the future!

Huge, comfortable house

Secluded property with plentiful, large bedrooms, many with baths en suite. Big kitchen and dining area, fully equipped, and cozy living room with fireplace. The owner is a decorator who favors combining antiques and oriental rugs with colorful, abstract art. Highly recommended for your large group seeking a getaway near historic river estates and sites.

Lovely, spacious house on beautiful property

We loved our stay at Brin's house, and we are already planning for another trip back next year! The house is big, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a lot of adults and kids, and everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. Brin is a gracious and flexible host, and coordinating with her was a pleasure. Spacious, well designed, comfortable house

My extended family rented this house for a month and had a wonderful stay. The house is extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. The huge dining table was perfect for family dinners, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The living area with fireplace, and large two story opening around the stairwell were really beautiful. It was also nice to have an ensuite bedroom downstairs for the parents as they are older and the stairs would have been tough. Upstairs were many baths and bedrooms for a truly flexible house that can support all kinds of groups. I also appreciated that the house was dog friendly. We loved the area, and since we had young kids, spend a lot of time at the Rhinebeck public pool and playground, both of which were nice and really well maintained. Otherwise, Rhinebeck is adorable, Hudson and Kingston as well, loved Burger Hill and all of the nearby museums and estates. Brin was super responsive throughout the stay. Our only frustration was the lack of cell service (obviously not in the owner's control), but we made do with wifi calling per Brin's suggestion. It just meant we had to remember to enter our destination and get directions prior to leaving the house otherwise we got totally lost on the country roads.

Friendship weekend

Met all of our expectations...a lovely place to gather for 7 women friends for over 45 years. At first the drive up the road intimidated us (1.7) miles of narrow road, but we became the seasoned travelers for 5 days as we wanted to visit everything in the region and we sure did. The house allowed us enough space and privacy for the group of us in the evening with a well stocked kitchen and nice bedding and towels. Fortunately, we took advantage of the kitchen for breakfasts and 3 dinners. Traveled the region from south of the home (New Windsor) and (Beacon) up to Kingston and Woodstock. So the home is in a great location for this. Brin was extremely helpful with a few questions we had. Was very hot when we arrived, but adjusted the thermostat and Brin assured us it would cool off quickly and it did. Very comfortable in the evening and for sleeping. This was a highly recommended property.
