From the moment that i arrived until the moment that i left (9 days later), being a guest on this property was an absolutely incredible experience. The owners are great. If you speak English, you'll feel tight at home in this 5 unit gated community. It really is tranquil. Very private and yet minutes from the hustle and bustle of city life. There is a pool and a area to grill outside. As well as a free laundry facility on site just a few feet from the Villas. The rooms come equiped with everything that you will need to feel right at home. All you have to do is but the groceries. There is a safe (bolted down) in every Villa for your precious belongings. And it is a Gated community with coded, keyless entry at the front gate. And the other guests are incredible. Canadians and Americans. What a great vibe. I will stay here again.

An Oasis

Truly an oasis, we loved every minute of our 20 days,, Having stayed in many places in Mexico over several years Villas Escondido has everything except a beach but if you need a beach fix its a 45 min walk or a 8 minute cab trip. The quiet, peaceful ambience is what we were looking for and it is exactly what we got in spades. With thanks to Ron and Marlene who made our stay perfect.

Awesome stay and great host

The villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful, the pool is an oasis with the large gathering area under a large palapa, which includes a bbq for the guests. We had a great time and Ron was full of tips for places to visit and recommended many of great places to dine. We loved the sounds of the countryside with our neighborhood donkey and rooster!! A car may be needed, but we enjoyed the early morning walks to town approximately 45 minutes to centro Bucerias. Cabs are readily available for the return trip if you so desire. It was a nice place to comeback to after a busy day of sightseeing, go for a dip in a lovely pool and relax in a quiet setting. It should also be mentioned the water is filtered. Thanks again Ron and Marlene for offering a piece of paradise.

An oasis out of busy town

The casitas are new, in superb condition and well decorated. Attention to details in the construction is second to none. Huge swimming pool, palapa, grill and quality furniture surrounded by lots of greenery. A great place to relax if you want to get away from the hustle and cacophony of the town. The property is ~3 km from town. Owners Ron & Marlene are fantastic and caring hosts. Would definitely go back but I suspect the place will be booked solid then. 🤔

This place was OUTSTANDING !!! I couldn't have asked for a better place. The property and accommodations were tremendous. The owner and other guests were extremely warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My only regret was that I didn't book a longer stay.

We have no complaints about our stay. The property is beautiful and the rooms were great . The only observation, and its not a complaint because we like to walk was its a little far to town.

Relaxing stay at Villas Escondido

Our 27 days stay at Villas Escondido was thoroughly enjoyable and very relaxing. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Ron and Marlene were great hosts. Always available for any questions we had and provided valuable information about the area. We were amazed by all the beautiful trees and flowering plants. The bougainvilleas surrounded the pool and palapa area. We enjoyed that area very much. It was a great place to visit with other guests and grill food. Each unit has individual Internet access and a smart TV. The pool area has shared internet access. If you are interested in visiting Bucerias, I would recommend Villas Escondido.
