Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the cabin which provided a great getaway. Everything we needed was provided by the host. The kitchen was the best stocked of any vacation home we’ve been in (we’ve rented about 20).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We brought a bunch of stuff but the house was well stocked with games, activities, kitchen items, etc. Beds were comfortable. Location great for a quiet peaceful getaway!

2023 Trout Opening Day

Great place to stay, not far from Inner Spruce Pine. All of us enjoyed our weekend trip. Cabin is well maintained and very nice. I would totally stay here again.

Great property

This was an amazing place to stay and we enjoyed it. The property owner went over the top to make sure we had a great stay. I can not say enough good things about this. The only place to improve is that 2 of the beds are canoed in the middle from repeated use and makes sleeping for 2 people less than perfect. We would defiantly go back.

Family Christmas celebration

This cabin was a great location for us to meet for our annual Christmas weekend! Communication with Derek was great! We had one issue arise and Derek was quick to find a solution.

Wedding weekend

We walked in and it smelled so good and was impressively clean! We had 10 people staying and we all fit so comfortably in the house. The decor was beautiful and we had everything we needed except for closet space, but made it work. Any questions we had were answered quickly by Derek. It was a very quiet peaceful spot!

Fall Motorcycle Trip

Everyone in our group loved this home. Plenty of space for 9 of us and everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the fire pit the first night but due to hurricane Ian we didn’t get to enjoy much of the outside areas other than that. The only real negative was the parking. We had planned to travel by motorcycle with travel trailers behind us and that would have been fine for 5 bikes and 3 trailers. We ended up bringing trucks and trailers to haul the bikes - 4 trucks, 4 trailers and 5 bikes. Thankfully there is a field about 2 miles away at the entrance to the Parkway that allows overnight parking. We left the trailers there and they were very safe. Our trucks and bikes were still very tight. We had all evening meals at the house as there is not much close but we were fine with that. The host was wonderful - answered many questions for us and sent additional pictures to try and help with our last minute need to bring additional vehicles. We made due and all worked out. Had a great time. Would recommend for anyone who wants space and some seclusion!

Thanks Sharon! We are so glad that your group had a great time. We do wish the weather would’ve been better for you, so y’all could’ve enjoyed biking the PKWY. Glad the parking ended up working out! I was definitely worried about that once y’all decided to trailer the bikes up. Good to know the inn allows for over night parking down there! We hope you and your friends will come visit again someday soon!
