INSIDE THE HOME

The main floor of the home has plenty of space for everyone to spend time together! Guests will find a designer living room with a vaulted ceiling, a large chef’s kitchen, generous dining area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. These spaces have been carefully designed with upscale furnishings and high-end fittings that are sure to impress!

On the cozy upper floor, you’ll find a comfortable second living room, perfect for family movie nights, a lovely nursery and large primary suite. These rooms have been decorated and furnished with comfort and style in mind ensuring that guests have the perfect space to relax and unwind in beautiful Tahoe.

This home has two patios: the hot tub patio off the main living room and the BBQ patio to use when the weather is warmer. In the backyard, guests will also find a small basketball court and a perfect sledding hill in the winter!

Wonderful cozy home

We enjoyed a wonderful three day weekend, celebrating a special birthday, enjoying the hot tub on blue bird spring days, and cooking in the lovely kitchen. Wonderful home for our friends and family gathering. Love the two living rooms which allowed the kids one space and parents another. Lovely large dinner table for family meals, and loads of bedrooms so everyone had lots of space to choose from. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Great Tahoe getaway

We loved the Tahoe Bear Den for our most recent trip to Truckee. The home was perfect for our 2 families. The separate living rooms was a bonus to give the kids space to play and lounge away from the adults. The beds were very comfortable and the home well stocked with linens and cookware/dishes. The hot tub was awesome after a day out in the snow and was well maintained. Having the garage was a bonus to load things in and out of the house upon arrival and departure because of the heavy snowfall, as was the daily snowplow service for the road and driveway. We did not get to use the Tahoe Donner rec center passes because of other plans but that would be a great feature, especially in the summer for the pool, golf and fitness center. Overall we loved the home and would come back again.

Snowboarding Trip

We recently stayed at this beautiful property for atrip in the snow. The property was so nice! There was sos much thought that the owners put in to making sure we had a great experience. The entire house was so clean and well stocked and supplied with utensils in the kitchen and toiletry items in the bathroom (shampoos, conditioners, etc.). The kitchen was beautiful and the the long table created a prefect center of the home. The only complaint I would have is that there is a lot clean up required before leaving (Emptying all the trash, stripping the bed, washing towels and bedsheets, loading and starting the dishwasher). Not that the plan was to leave the place a mess but it made me wonder what i sht epoint of the $200 cleaning fee if we basically have to do all of it? Also, the house is slightly smaller than it appears in the pictures. Outside of that, the entire experience was amazing! The staff were really really nice and accommodating, the place was beautiful, and we had an amazing time!

Tahoe bear den review

We stayed a few nights with two other families (6 adults + 2 children). The place was perfect. It has a lot of beds so everyone could have their own bed and each family had their own room. The backyard is perfect for hot tubbing, playing games, string light dinners, sledding (in the winter), and a nice deck. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. The beds were all comfortable, especially the master. Plenty of parking, we only had 3 cars, but could have fit 5. I could tell that the owners had put some in cute additions. The baby room was perfect for the kids and crazy well insulated for sound. We found plenty of good restaurants and hikes nearby. BBQ was easily accessible, close to kitchen. Had luck with the weather, warm during the day and cooled down some at night. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We definitely would stay again, hopefully during ski season. Thanks for having us
