Great Location

We had a fabulous time here! Loved the location so close to the beach and the road was very quiet. Everything was as listed and clean! Enjoyed the front porch tremendously, hearing the ocean and feeling the breeze!! And the outdoor shower was awesome! We would definitely love to come back again!

Best Family Vacation

Wow, where to start? We absolutely loved everything. Most of all, the wrap around porch is where we spent 90% of our time. The beach was a short walk and so lovely. The street was so quiet and we felt we had it to ourselves. Our teen enjoyed easy bike rides downtown and our 4 year old loved all the toys in the house. We had everything we could need and more which made for such a relaxing week. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Here for the beach

This was a charming beach house which served our needs and provided close access to the beach. There were some maintenance issues which the owner addressed promptly. Other issues were minor to us so we did not bring up. We felt in general the place was super cute but could use some TLC. We loved the proximity to the beach and appreciated the game room and beach gear. Check in was easy and the host was responsive, but we felt our stay lacked a personal touch compared to other BnBs.

Deck Relaxation worth every penny!!

The peaceful deck is worth booking!! Close proximity to beach access and if it rains, just chill on the deck!! Very convenient location with great restaurants a few miles away. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning walks. Owners are very responsive

Late summer getaway

We really enjoyed our time at surf city and at this house. It’s a little smaller than what we are used to but it was still plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was nicely decorated, had comfortable, inviting furniture inside and out and was only a short walk to the beach. Looking forward to booking a trip next year!

Great stay in Topsail!

House is perfectly located at the beach and very close to two public beach access points. The access points are off a very quiet street, safe for families with young children. The deck is beautiful and provides shade after sunny day on the beach with plenty of outside seating. The outside shower is another nice touch! Would stay again.

Great location

We had a great experience staying here. It was a little smaller than expected, but with the location right across from the beach (just walking over the dune walkway), it made up for it. The kitchen is a little tight with a family of 5, but we managed. The communication was great with the owners. This area was a perfect distance from the main “downtown” of Surf City and the beach was not overly packed. My kids enjoyed the beach everyday!

My family and I spent a wonderful week at Jason and Kathy's beach home. From the beautiful view on the front porch to the easy access to the beach, it provided us with an excellent beach vacation. Jason quickly responded to our questions. I am hopeful to return!!!

Even better than the first visit!

This was our family’s second stay here. It is such a great house to vacation in! I could sit on the porch for hours while watching the moon raise out of the ocean! The beach accesses are easy to get to (and that’s coming from someone who lugged two young children’s beach things back and forth for a week). The house had some reallly lovely upgrades. The laundry room has been redone and another space down below has been turned into an awesome game room. There are plenty of things for all ages to do here and the owners were nothing short of wonderful. Please consider staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Gem by the Beach

We were blown away by this home. Jason & Kathy have a gem on their hands. From the ocean views on the porch, to the (very) short walk to the beach access, to the spacious layout of the home, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The outdoor shower is among the best I've seen with total privacy, warm water, and a place to set your things. There's an enormous (for a beach home) back yard where the kiddos can play and run around when they need a break from the sand. The response time from Jason & Kathy to any message sent was nearly immediate from the time we booked through the end of our stay. I don't write many reviews, but this is one I felt compelled to do. You won't find many better gems than this one! We can't wait to book our next stay.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone! The perfect porches and decor inside. The walk to the beach is very easy and in a quiet street which was great with little kids. We plan to come back!
