Legacy Lagoon- Peaceful on Weeki Wachee Canal w/2 Clear Kayaks!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated on a quiet street and a gorgeous canal leading right to Weeki Wachee River. You will have use of completely clear Kayaks to see all the fish and manatees and a Jon Boat upon request for an additional cost. The home is clean and stylish with 2 BR, 2 BA and a full size pull out couch, outdoor deck and firepit. You are close to all the restaurants you are familiar with along with family owned gems right around the corner. We welcome your family to our Legacy Lagoon!

The space
The home is spacious, but cozy and right on a beautiful canal leading right to the private areas of Weeki Wachee River. Very close to stores, restaurants and other attractions! This includes being very close to local beaches like Hernando Beah (10 minutes) and just an 1.5 hours to the top beaches in the country. Not to mention you are only 1.5 hours to Disney and all Orlando attractions! If you are looking for more Springs there are many more around the corner including Crystal Springs and Seven Sisters. This is an ideal spot to enjoy all the unique sides Florida has to offer.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry area. In addition this includes the deck and boat dock area with 2 clear kayaks. The outside area has a firepit and corn toss games.

Our Story
We named this place "Legacy Lagoon" because it is an ode to Tava's Grandmother Carol or "Nonnies". She has a history here in Weeki Wachee where she was a popular Weeki Wachee mermaid at the time where the Springs were featured in many Hollywood mainstream movies and visited by many stars and athletes of the time of the 50's and 60's. She carried on the tradition of raising her children in the cool spring waters with owning properties on the river and enjoying many family vacations here. Tava even learned to swim here as well!

Nonnies was featured in the local newspaper, where you can see her drinking coke under water and performing as a mermaid. These photos are also on the gallery wall of the home along with other elements that add to her legacy. Having our own children now, it is our hope to have our own children grow up around these waters and it is our mission to help other families enjoy Weeki Wachee too!
