This is a 2,800-square-foot resort-style, two-story vacation home. The landscaped exterior provides a relaxing environment perfect for watching the local wildlife, reading a book, catching the sunrise or fishing with your buddies. The property has water on three sides, and is entirely private with its own yard space and beach when the tide is right. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a 2nd story living room, a bonus room with a 1/2 kitchen, 5 patios, a hot tub spa and in the garage you will find ping pong and air hockey.

The Island House is a beautiful option for a small wedding, birthday or anniversary party, or a family reunion. Please be advised that if you choose to use the Island House for your event, an additional event fee will be added to your booking.

The host was bankrupt and absent. The owner was in Vietnam. The whole island was under foreclosure. The front gate was locked and the security guard did not know we were coming. The exterior of the house was decrepit. Nobody had the entry code to the house but they could open the garage door. The house was freezing and most of it never got warm in the time we were there. There were no quilts or towels laid out. The kitchen was sparesly supplied . We spent one chilly night and when the water went out the next day we left. We only hope that VRBO refunds us our money.

The wifi was never connected so no internet and no television, the dishwasher was full of dishes and the dishwasher did not work. When we opened it to maybe wash dishes to use, a most horrible smell came out.. Horrible stink. We handwashed dishes during our stay with you. There were no sufficient towels for all of us there so we had to go out at night to buy towels AND bedsheets! Arrived to find the property in a state of disrepair. Planned to propose to my girlfriend on site after seeing the photos, but had to change plans after seeing that the house and surrounding grounds were completely unkept. Could not get in contact with the owner after arriving either because the VRBO contact was no longer associated with the property.

When we arrived at Paradise Island the place was deserted. The office was locked up and when we looked in the windows the office had been ransacked. There was a phone # to call. We left 2 messages with no response. The house looked as though it hadn't been used in several months. We discovered later the property had been foreclosed on.

Wilderness Adventure

The property did not really match the photos on the outside. It looked worn and could have used a paint job and power washing. There’s spider webs everywhere, but it’s not something you can avoid being out there. Either you deal with spiders or the smaller insects and flies they trap/eat. We got a visit from a 4’ snake. Although we were told that’s a rare.m occurrence. The inside was nice but again the spider webs. And again its either that or the smaller insects. The best part of the rental was the property manager. She was always ready with a solution. She was especially helpful to find what we needed nearby. Online searching was useless compared to how she helped.

Superb Location

Easy access at checkin w/door codes. Very nice upgrades. Spacious floor plan good for entertaining. The kitchen and living area upstairs amazing delta views. Owner responsive to requests. Would definitely stay again!

Local Paradise On It’s Own Island

This was a hidden gem we happened to come upon. Who knew we had a local paradise on it’s own island! The property is very private and quiet and serene. The house is beautiful and spacious and has all the amenities you need to occupy all ages. There are also cabanas available by the docks along with toilets, showers and laundromat for glamping that are very clean and well kept. Kham and the owner were amazing and were so easy to communicate with. Despite there being some unforeseen circumstances that were out of their control, they went above and beyond to accommodate us and ease up any burdens. It was an amazing experience and our family and friends loved the property. We cannot wait to come back!

Lovely property with amazing views

We truly enjoyed our stay at this delta property despite the heat wave. The A/C did an admirable job for 110 degree weather. We just couldn't be outside as much as we would have liked. The views are lovely, the property is clean and works well. Only two improvements we would have liked: a bit more kitchen stuff for cooking and maybe some essentials like olive oil and spices and the like. Since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby and the kitchen is so spacious, it would have been good if there were some more kitchen equipment like a full set of measuring cups and spoons and potholders and some kitchen basics so we wouldn't need to buy everything for a teaspoon here or there. Also just make sure that the office is open when you arrive. Our check in was 4pm on a Sunday and the office closed at 5pm. Luckily it wasn't a problem for our group.

Mosquitoes paradise

Not worth staying in this home despite the location mentioned in their website. You cant step out to use anything outside as there are so many mosquitoes and insects crawling and flying around. The water around house is disgusting. I called manager to ask why there are mosquitoes inside home and she was surprised saying no there shouldn't have but i have showed it to her when she came to drop mosquitoes repilent plugs. Besides this home doesnt have any soap, shampoo, conditioner or bodywash. Which was not mentioned. When incalled her she said we dont keep ot and look in cabinet if last guest may have left some of their unused shampoo and soap??? I wold not stay or recommend this home with kids or anyone. It is not worth risking getting sick with all those mosquitoes bites.

Lives Up to Its Name

Paradise Island was perfect for 5 friends and I. The secluded and private property has multiple decks from which to enjoy the water on three sides. It is every bit as nice as the photos at the website. The hosts, Melanie and Rob, were responsive and great in every way. Will definitely be back.

Christmas in paradise

It was very peaceful and beautiful to be next to the river and see the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Very clean and spacious and well stocked. The manager was very helpful and if we needed anything, he was accommodating. Best Christmas I’ve had in years spending with my family in such a beautiful and comfortable home.

Hawaii-like vacation

Perfect for our large family with active boys. Kayaks and paddle boards were provided and there were areas to ride bikes too. The house was wonderful, every bedroom had beautiful sunrise views along with kitchen, dining and living room. Best of all how nice everyone was including the landscaper/ gardener who kept the grounds spotless….

Delta Paradise House

I love staying at this house it’s beautiful plus you get boat slip, private beach area and they provide two seater kayaks and paddles and two paddle boards with paddles. The hot-tub is awesome at night especially with the super moon we had on our stay. Love everything about this place even the folks that work at the marina and got us all checked in were great!!! Had so much fun Boating, kayaking and paddle boarding and playing in the water. We even flew kites on the green grass peninsula included with the home!!! Absolutely fabulous time!!! We will be booking again.

Best stay at the delta!

We had a great time at the Paradise Island house. Our family has been coming to the delta every summer my whole life, and discovering this house was a game changer. Private slips, AC, TVs in every bedroom, 2 fridges, hot tub, grass area, small beach area, fully stocked kitchen, and a bidet in every bathroom? This house has it all! The amazing view of the water from every room was a very nice bonus. The location is exactly where we want to be near North Fork and the kids’ daily ice cream cone. Everyone was happy and comfortable, and we will definitely be staying again.

Paradise House Vacation

My family of 11 (three generations) rented the Paradise House for a 4 day vacation. Everyone had a great stay. House accommodation was great. The game room with the big TV and huge beanbag chair/bed was a hit with the teens. We brought an inflatable canoe that the kids all learned to paddle around. All had a great time. The only real issue was the internet went out the first day and was not restored till the next day. But that actually made for some fun times playing games with the kids. Also the kids could play in the water by the stairs, but there was no place to actually swim. All in all it was a great place for the beauty and privacy of the whole end of the island.
