Luxury 5 Bedroom Big Sky Retreat
Summary:
5 Bedrooms - 4 Bathrooms - Sleeps 11 - Private Hot Tub - Mountain Village Location - (Property Code: 8 Oglala)
The Space:
Breath-taking mountain views and quaint forests await you in this lavish ski-in-ski-out Big Sky Powder Ridge cabin. Nestled in the peaceful seclusion of the Powder Ridge neighborhood, enjoy ski-in-ski-out access to the biggest skiing in America and where you can admire wildlife from the deck. An ideal fit for multiple families, vacationing couples, or a reunion, this 3,550 sq. foot, 5-bedroom cabin offers an abundance of luxurious space to congregate or spread out. Inside, the warm cabin-in-the-woods exterior gives way to high-end amenities, elegant furnishings, and modern conveniences throughout. Owned by the same family since the time of it’s construction, this cabin is well-cared for and the level of attention to everything a guest might need is truly unprecedented. Featuring a Wolf stove, large Sub-Zero fridge, stone counter tops, exposed log finishes, propane fire pit on the deck, game room with foosball and a Wii, this home truly has it all. After a long day of adventuring, melt the miles and stress away with a starlit soak in the private outdoor hot tub. Just a minute drive or 5-minute walk from the Mountain Village at Big Sky Resort, enjoy year-round outdoor activities, shops, and restaurants. Check off visiting Yellowstone National Park from your bucket list and drive a scenic 45 miles to West Yellowstone. This Big Sky retreat makes the perfect starting point for your Montana ventures.
Ski Access: Located near the White Otter Access trail. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid-December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid-April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out unless White Otter Lift is running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Put skis on by the garage. Exit the cabin skier’s right. Ski across the cul-du-sac between cabin 16 and 18 Oglala Road. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. There are a few flat sections that will require poling or skating. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Ski In:
Follow Lower Morningstar to the second set of Powder Ridge signs as indicated on the map. Exit here to skier’s left.
Follow the signs towards the White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier access bridge. At the end of the bridge turn hard left and pop out on the road (Manitou Loop). Follow the road to Oglala Road and turn right. Immediately turn left on Oglala Road. Your cabin is the second on the right. (Green access) OR (if road is melted) at the end of the bridge turn right and then follow the sign on the left for Oglala Access. Get off the access next to 4B and then walk back to your cabin.
Bedroom Layout:
Master (upper level): King bed with en suite bathroom with walk-in shower
Bedroom 2 (upper level): King bed with en suite bathroom with walk-in shower
