Pros: The condo was a nice spacious place to stay. It was close enough to plenty of bar/restaurant options in the Wailea and Kihei areas. The view from the patio was beautiful, as you could (partially) see the ocean. The inside was clean, and had plenty of kitchen/bedroom amenities. Cons: There was no communication as to where our condo was physically located. The only address provided was the main office. We ran into a security guard who told us where #33B was located. The pool was closed (renovation) while we were there, but apparently there were two others we could've used, but no one communicated that with us. There were spiderwebs all over the outdoor furniture, which made us hesitant to sit on any of it due to getting bit by a spider or other bugs. We had large cockroaches inside the condo; they were found dead each morning in the living room. There were a bunch of dead cockroaches all over the patio outside as well. The TVs are WAY TOO OLD. We tried to use the Smart Apps, but logging in was difficult -- primarily because the remote was broken -- and the TVs had a hard time connecting to the WiFi. Speaking of the Wifi, it wasn't great (strong). I was there for work and needed to be online -- needed multiple devices to be online at once -- and the single would turn off an on, and the TVs would buffer. No one uses cable boxes anymore. Even if they do, these VRBO rentals need to have updated technology in the property. Not acceptable for the cost of the property.

We enjoyed our stay in 33B. The location was perfect for getting to the beach, walking the path or watching the sunset on the green space! The place was spacious and had everything we needed.

Condo is in an amazing location! Loved all of the extras like a small cooler for beach use, and well supplied kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and the pavilion and main pool area was roomy and welcoming to hang out at. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you!

Fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ekahi Village. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotless when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen spacious and the lanai was very large. Our condo was within easy reach to one of the swimming pools and the main pool and beach was a short walk away. We will definitely be back!

Great Place.

The apartment was clean, well stocked with beach equipment all appliances worked which may not seem important unless you rented a unit in which the air conditioning did not work and the owners first response was for our friends to open windows and turn on a fan. Thankfully they got it all fixed after a couple of unpleasant days, for the record they did not rent with the same company we did business with. Great time, thinking of coming back same time next year.

This is a nice unit in a great location within Ekahi...on the main green belt, short walk to the beach, nice ocean view. The unit could use some updating...the grill and screen door were broken and the refrigerator needs to be repaired or replaced. I also must echo others in that the property management company was not pleasant to work with in terms of check in and communication.

Condo Review

This was an exellent condo but unfortunately it had furniture issues. We, two of us, are elderly in the mid 8os and expect to have 2 comfortable chairs available. There were 2 chairs in the living area but useful for shows or demonstration but not for comfort. We expected reading lights. There were none and we could only read in the evening while in bed. We expected adequate nighttime window covering. There werre 2 sliding doors with adequate covering but the windows had sunshasde covers but it night with light on inside one could see everything from the outside. Totally unaccerptable.

Nice relaxing place

Pros and cons - pros - nice people renting to you and gave us champagne and snacks and let us stay longer as no one was coming behind us . Big bed and great ac and location . Check in is a nightmare as they repeatedly ask for documents to be signed and not all are online and if you have apple products they don’t tell you that you have to turn phone sideways to make them work right . Pulled my hair out trying to fill out all The documents . Then, when you arrive , they make you do it all again and require a face time as they don’t trust you . That’s the theme in the home too as threatening docs all around regarding stealing stuff or damaging two towels . Need to stop all that nonsense as those towels aren’t worth accusing your clients of being criminals to steal or damage them - ridiculous and child like nonsense . Get rid of all hotel like signs in home . Shower door was not completed with seals as it leaks on floor. Gift cookies they gave us were three months past due to throw out . They don’t provide any water at all . A lot of cheapness comes through as no water , those horrible shampoo conditioner in one bottles as too cheap to give you both separate bottles . Blinds in bedroom are see through so sun comes in and wakes you up at 6 am . Please change to blinds that block the sun and no one can see in . But positives outweighed the negatives and hope they make those changes and it will be perfect !!

Maui visit

We were disappointed with this condo. We felt it was not as clean as it should have been....throw rug in bedroom was stained and kitchen was not wiped clean of dirty finger prints, corners were dusty. Just felt old and poorly kept. Shower in master leaked all over the floor as it was not sealed properly. Could not get one of the burners on stove to work and tried to cook a pizza that burned on the bottom and didn't cook on the top??? Main screen door stuck in corner as was difficult to open. Air conditioner was very noisy in living area. We rented another unit with different property management for our kids that we were totally happy with. I understand why others criticized the difficulty in reserving and following their requirements. I had to phone them more than once as their emails to me were not easy to understand. We were able to check in early and check in was easy, however. I will say that they also did respond quickly and were very helpful when I called them to help with SAFE not opening.

Fantastic Stay

My wife and I stayed here for my 40th birthday. We loved the unit, it was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Wonderful for doing our own cooking and eating on the lanai. We loved being on the first floor and being able to walk out from the unit, to the lanai, to the lawns and on to the beaches (and the Shops at Wailea!) This was our third trip to Maui, and the first unit we are planning to book again. The layout of the unit is perfect for two couples, the perfect balance of shared space and privacy. We've already invited our friends on our next trip here!

Beautiful unit--perfect location

My husband and I spent our two-week honeymoon in Ekahi and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The unit is just a short walk down from one of the best beaches in Maui (and some of the best and easiest snorkeling!). We spent every morning enjoying the view from the lanai and every evening watching the sunsets on the lawn--the location was perfect. The unit itself was beautiful and very modern with everything we needed. We did a lot of home cooking so the new grill and fully equipped kitchen was very handy. We are already planning our trip back here!
