Unsere Hütte liegt am Lake Thurmond, dem größten künstlichen See östlich des Mississippi. Es ist ein großartiger Ort für einen Wochenendausflug oder Urlaub. Zusätzlich zum See haben wir 80 km Wander- und Radwege, 3 Golfplätze am See, großartiges Angeln und Jagen. Dieser Bereich ist ganzjährig geeignet. Der Sommer hat den Vorteil eines warmen Wassers im See für Wassersportarten, aber die anderen Jahreszeiten haben den Vorteil angenehmer Temperaturen für alle anderen Aktivitäten.

Wenn Sie ein Boot haben, können Sie es nur ein paar Blocks von der Kabine entfernt starten und an unserem überdachten Dock andocken. Wenn Sie kein Boot haben, können Sie in der nahe gelegenen Savannah Lakes Marina neue 24-Fuß-Pontonboote mieten.

Die Hütte ist eine schöne zweistöckige Blockhütte in einer Wildnissituation, die auf 300 Fuß Küstenlinie sitzt. Es ist 1500 Quadratmeter groß, mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Es hat auch eine große Wrap-around-Deck, einen 6-Mann-Whirlpool im Deck und eine Aussicht, die sich über mehrere Meilen des Sees erstreckt.

Golfprivilegien sind für mehrere hervorragende Golfplätze in der Nähe verfügbar. Das Angeln innerhalb einer halben Meile von der Hütte ist hervorragend und es gibt einen neuen 80 km langen Wander-, Rad- und Kajakweg, der nur wenige Kilometer entfernt ist. Egal, ob Sie nach Wassersportarten, Golf, einem großartigen Ort für lange Spaziergänge oder Radtouren suchen oder einfach nur eine schöne Umgebung zum Entspannen und Genießen suchen, hier können Sie eine Woche oder ein Wochenende verbringen. Und für Masters-Fans ist die Kabine etwa 40 Autominuten vom Masters-Golfturnier in Augusta, GA, entfernt.

Bitte beachten Sie bei der Buchung dieser Hütte, dass sie sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend am See befindet und nicht für Gruppen von mehr als 8 bis 10 Personen geeignet ist. Zum Beispiel wäre ein Klassentreffen oder ein Familientreffen unangemessen. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche State Parks, die für solche Veranstaltungen geeignet sind.

Great Lakeside Getaway

We were very impressed with the beautiful wraparound porch and spent most of our time there overlooking the lake. Beautiful property that was even prettier than advertised. Great to have ready access to our boat with the private dock. Five stars all around!

Cutest little cabin

Loved our stay here! Super cute wood cabin. We spent all of our time on the spacious back porch area. Very relaxing and plenty of parking. The dock was the best and perfect for our parking our large pontoon boat. The owner was very responsive via text. Plenty of plates, cups, cookingware and left over spices/coffees from previous guests.

Most Favorite Family Vacation Spot

This was our second time staying at this cozy cabin! We adore everything about it, and plan on this becoming a once a year tradition! This was the second year our group of 4 senior golfers has stayed here while golfing at local courses and attending The Masters. Our experience was great again. Nice rustic cabin with everything we needed. Hopefully, we can do it again next year. I really wish the owner would replace the upstairs futon with a single bed though! Thanks!

Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved this property. My family brought our boat and jet skis for my daughter's 21st birthday and had the best time. The porch is absolutely fantastic. It had beautiful outdoor furniture, high velocity fans and plenty of seating for everyone. We were only inside to sleep. The beds were nice with good sheets, which is always important to me. My family used the dock to swim and fish off of. It was big enough to put a 21ft bay boat and 2, 3 seater jet skis at and still have room for the little ones to jump off of while we laid out in our floats. This is deep water at the end of the dock and the boat ramp was super close. There was a grocery store, dollar general and convenient store close by so we were able to get things we ran out of or needed. We had no issues with directions or checkin/out. We cleaned up and left the property exactly how we found it so that it will be available for our future trips because we will definitely be back. Me, my husband, our kids, and grandkids enjoyed this place better than any of the others that we have stayed at in the last 5 years. You can tell the owners are investigating a lot of upgrades in this property and I hope that others take care of it so that it's available for my family year after year.

Awesome cabin on the lake

Cabin is comfortable and well equipped. Location on the lake is absolutely perfect. The dock is new and great for the boat and all of the water toys as well as swimming. But the highlight is definitely the spacious porch with the really nice furniture. We spent most of the time there when not on the water and the fans made it remarkably cool despite the heat. We definitely hope to return soon.

Very enjoyable

Owners of the property are super helpful and accommodating. The porch and dock was amazing! We had our boat but much prefered to hang out on the dock and swim. Only downfall was cameras on the property so we felt like we were being watched all the time.

The location of this property for us is great. It’s close to Savannah lakes, Elijah Clark and Soap creek. The back porch is probably our favorite part. We actually thought about sleeping there a couple nights. Great Place!!

Great Outdoor Deck

A cool day and a rainy day were just as great as the sunny day thanks to the outdoor living space on the deck. The patio fire pit on the huge covered deck allowed grilling and peaceful views of the lake. The kitchen was small but not a problem for our 3 night stay. Check in/check out was easy. We also loved the dock. We used the neighborhood ramp to unload but the nearby Elijah Clark State Park ramp to load.

Wonderful time spent on the lake

This is our 2nd stay at this home and the owners continue to make fabulous upgrades to the property. The new deck was amazing. Clean and comfortable home, close to several boat ramps. New dock is great! Our family has enjoyed both of our stays here and look forward to returning again soon.

Masters Trip

Visited for Masters week for a guys trip. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful covered deck/patio overlooking the lake. We cooked on the griddle and grill and enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. Fishing from the dock was great as well and the two golf courses we played were nearby. It was an easy 50 minute drive to Augusta National. We hope to be back soon.
