Tate's Retreat is just a few blocks from the Sandy Shores of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom is complete with a game room! It offers everything you need for your getaway! The primary Bedroom has a King size bed, Bedroom #2 has 1 Queen bed all rooms and bedrooms complete with blackout blinds! The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate dining room. The main floor living room offers an additional sleeping space (double) and a 70' streaming tv! The lower level has a pool table and another living room with a streaming tv, with 2 twin beds, an additional cot tucked away in a nook. The backyard has a large deck with a pergola for shade fo seating and a table for dining with a large fenced in back yard. There is an additional twin rollaway bed for more sleeping. All on a quiet tree lined street. We are close to Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, Blue Chip Casino, less than an hour from Notre Dame University, local breweries and wineries.

Great location

It would be a far “walk” to the beach especially with kids however it is a VeRY short drive to the beach, zoo & Botanical garden. The house was clean & perfect for our family of 4. 2 young kids in 2 twin beds, and a King. Also a fenced in yard for the dog.

Perfect home close to shore!

Great home for family and friends. Home is just as the pictures represent. Property manager was great and very responsive with any issues. Home needs Beach chairs for older adults to use as the home has none and you are at the beach! Will rent again when in the area.

Nice & Easy

This home has everything you need for a nice stay—comfortable beds, pool table in basement and back porch with grill and seating area. The decor is attractive. Kitchen fully stocked — more than many other rentals we have stayed at. Quiet neighborhood, but not a lot of options (coffee, restaurant) to walk to. Washington park and Lake Michigan about 10-15 minutes. Bikes would be a great option. The outside of the house isn’t super impressive, but the inside is a nice surprise!

Perfect getaway!

The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable! The pool table was a huge hit for my family. The neighborhood was quiet, and the backyard was a private, peaceful oasis. We walked to Washington Park Zoo one day, and it was only about a 15 minute walk. We loved that we were close enough to Chicago to make it to a Cubs game, and we also spent a day exploring New Buffalo, MI.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Monica started North Star Properties with one goal. To better serve the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan Area with a concierge service mentality for short term rentals. From the North suburbs of Detroit she was bred to be in the real estate industry. Both of her parents were entrepreneurs. She watched as her father built Gauthier Corporation, a very successful construction company, which is still running as strong as ever. Her mother started a cleaning company that meticulously made sure every home shined like the top of the Chrysler building. Working for both of her parents growing up, she understands the drive and passion it takes to achieve success. Prior to starting North Star Properties, she sold real estate on the Northside of Chicago before moving to the Dunes and making a permanent home.
