First of all, the location, very near the Historic District, was very desirable. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. The parking pass for the lot downtown, near the Visitor Center, was a bonus.
The condo was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen was very nice.
We understand that this is a coastal location, but there must been ground floor flooding significant enough to leave a strong mildew odor in the hallways, and slightly less strong in our condo upsrairs. Someone with sensitivities might want to check this with the owner.
Additionally, we experienced some tidal flooding, due to a combination of off-shore weather and the full moon. The road and sidewalk in front of the condo complex flooded. Our car was perfectly dry in the parking lot, but several different kind neighbors gave us the information we needed about coping with this event. They said happens about 4 times a year, and advised that we not drive through salt water that high. Thus, at high tide, we had a 2-hour period of time where the roads were not passable. (At the neighbor's advise, we got a copy of the tide tables and then scheduled our activities to avoid the high tide.)
