This was a beautiful house. It was super clean. It felt homey and secluded while still being close to town and activities. The private pool and screened in porch were the highlight of the stay. Host was friendly and extremely accommodating.Would 100% stay again and recommend to friends!

Beautiful place

Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. The whole set up was perfect inside and out. I’d recommend the home to couples and older children it’s definitely a very nice home and I chased my toddler around all day to make sure she didn’t tear things up . But we loved our stay

Peaceful Retreat

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family nearby for Easter. This place just made me happy! The whole house and yard are beautifully decorated with antiques and unique items. I even photographed some ideas for my own house. We loved having morning coffee on the long front porch. There's a screened in back porch, with lights and a T.V., perfect for dinner and sipping a cocktail. The live edge counters are beautiful. The beds are ultra comfortable, and the spa bathroom is amazing. I loved the dressing table. The kitchen was stocked with heavy copper pots in good condition. We didn't use the pool as it was too early in the season, but it looked very inviting with a nice deck and chairs around it. It was very peaceful here, with lots of singing birds and soft windchimes, and my grandkids enjoyed the huge yard. Laura was very friendly and responsive if we had any questions, and she even went to extra trouble to put up some Easter decorations for us. We will definitely stay here again.

NJ Cabin Trip 2024

We have been doing VRBO cabin trips since the beginning of COVID. Each one has been within a day's drive of the Washing DC area. Hence the name of the review. Laura's Place ranks up there with the best of them. The tone was set by the wonderfully whimsical decorations. The tone was enhanced by the fact that the cabin had everything that we needed and that everything was clean and worked. Important was the endless supply of hot water. and the excellent gas stove. Our hostess contacted us a couple of times to answer questions but other than that was completely un-bothersome. If we decide to return to the Pittsgrove area in the future, we will defintitely stay a Laura's place.

Beautiful house and location

The property is beautiful and well maintained. It is in a nice quite neighborhood but within minutes of a grocery store and numerous restaurants and shops. Communication with Laura was flawless.

Great place to stay while working in the region

Laura's Place is a great little hidden gem in the area. I was working in the region for two weeks and found this wonderful property. It was a great place to return to at the end of the day. Well appointed, carefully decorated with lots of personal touches, it was a comfortable and very clean place to relax and enjoy. I'd stay again for sure.

We loved our stay last year so much that we returned again this year! Laura is a great host and very responsive if needed. The property is so beautiful and relaxing, the pictures don’t do it justice. Laura’s Place is amazing!

Nice stat for a short weekend

This was a very nice property for our trip to New Jersey Motorsports Park. It was tucked away within a short distance from the Track. Laura quickly answered all of our questions and made us feel at home while we were there.

Beautiful, but little privacy

A beautiful custom, private home with upscale finishes and LOTS of breakable accessories that the owner is very afraid of people damaging. There were laminated instruction cards everywhere- including in the refrigerator. Due to gaps in barn doors, there is no privacy even in the bathroom. There are 6 or more exterior cameras & she watches everything.

Amazing. And i want to hire her to decorate my house!!

Literally the most personalized and lovely property I've stayed in! (We do 2-3 vacation rentals a year, past three to four years for context). The kitchen was beautiful AND extremely functional. The bathroom was like a spa retreat. We had kind of terrible weather but the pool was a delight when we were able to use it, and bigger than we expected!! Owner left helpful notes throughout the property and was IMMEDIATELY responsive to all my questions. I'm already planning a "girl weekend" with my former college roommates, and mt husband is totally on board for future weekend trips!! Personally, I wouldnt have small children stay here - its all very nice and I'd be worried they'd damage things? But i dont have kids so non-issue, just a thought! Loved it.
