If you are searching for the perfect beach front vacation spot, your search is over. Located right on Lake Michigan’s pristine north shore with over 400 feet of private shoreline, this truly spectacular home encompasses everything you would expect in a lake front home.

The well appointed interior boasts over 3700 square feet of space with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a spacious modern kitchen, upper and lower living rooms, a game room and stunning Lake Michigan views from the upper level rooms. The large split floor plan is perfect for multiple families who want to gather together while still having the privacy of their own areas.

The exterior of the home allows ample opportunity to take in the fresh, clean, northern air. There is a large fenced side yard perfect for family gathering, outdoor games or pets to roam. Off the back of the home are two balconies, a large fire pit, and lakeside viewing deck with stairs down to the sugar sandy beach, that all captures the majestic, vibrant blue waters of Lake Michigan. Ride your ATV, side by side, or Snowmobile directly from the house to hundreds of miles of trails. Access is across the street from the home at Little Brevort Lake Access.

The home is also conveniently located to everything the Upper Peninsula has to offer. The quaint town of St. Ignace is just a 15 minute drive to the east. St.Ignace offers a Family Fare grocery store, shopping, restaurants and ferry rides to Historic Mackinac Island. The home is also close to sand dunes, Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Kitch-iti-kipi springs, Oswalds Bear Ranch, The Deer Ranch, The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and many more!

Great cozy, home away from home

The bluff beach hutch was an incredible experience. From the amenities to the amazing view. Even in the winter was breathtaking. Beautiful property and makes it feel like staying at home. Housed 6 of us working out of town in Naubinway. Highly recommend, Michelle was great. Quick process as it was last minute on my end. She made our week trip wonderful.

Awesome stay

I had a great stay at Michelle’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was quick and friendly. The location was perfect — close to every sightseeing spot in the UP. The view from back of the house is immaculate. Afternoon strolls along the beach, looking into the horizon across Lake Michigan during sunset is topnotch. Definitely recommend.

Great Family Fun

Being right on Lake Michigan was a delight. Kids enjoyed splashing on the sandy beach, and had fun with the kayaks. Owner was very responsive in answering questions.

Nice secluded beach with lots of nature; the stair down to the beach is steep. Fun swimming beaches and attractions nearby. A bit of highway noise since the house is right off the main road with lots of semis, but also easy access. The metal bunk beds were too squeaky and hard for sleeping. The house had most of the basic kitchen tools we needed (there is now a can opener) and it was clean.

Group of 10 fit perfectly

This property was a wonderful trip! I had a group of 10 people and the bluff beach hutch made sure that everyone got their own bed. The house is quite spacious even with all the people we had brought. The beachfront is also extremely inviting and private with no other access points to it for what seems like miles. The owners are extremely nice and were very communicative throughout the whole experience. We had no issues at all and I would book them again.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Beautiful home, amazing hosts. The bedrooms are quite large with lots of room. Gorgeous view from every room. Lots of room in the kitchen. We took our whole family up to the U.P to celebrate my father-in-law's 70th birthday and this house was absolutely perfect. John and Michelle were easy to communicate with and quick to resolve the 1 issue we had. (The door key pad was being finicky). Highly recommend this place.

Perfect spot

Absolute paradise on Lake Michigan! The beach house was the perfect size for our family to fit comfortably with everything needed. 6 adults and 3 children. We could’ve accommodated more. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking. Sitting on the platform over looking the lake with morning coffee listening to the waves crash was a great way to start the day. The private beach access was an incredible bonus, making it easy to stroll along the shore or swim in the water. The littles had great adventures walking along the shore finding treasures. The location was ideal for peace yet close to activities and the ferry to Mackinac Island. We all rented bikes and rode around the island. It was a highlight for all of us. Highly recommended for a serene and unforgettable getaway.

Private Beach!

My extended family had a wonderful, relaxing week at this spacious home. It was a great location for day trips to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls/Whitefish Point, and Mackinac Island. The best part about the house though was the private beach right on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the 2 kayaks that were provided, the clear water, and walking along the long stretch of shoreline. Michelle was a very responsive host and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed.

WONDERFUL view and great owners

We were a large group of 16, four families represented. This home fit us very well. Lots of space to spread out and each family had their own bedroom/bathroom. The side yard is completely fenced in and it is LARGE. We enjoyed yard games there and felt at ease that kids were safe as the hwy is nearby. The view in the back is stunning. Sitting by the bonfire and seeing the lake and sunset was simply amazing. Words can't do it justice! We loved staying here very much! There were a few things that we thought needed to be addressed for future tenants, especially with a larger crowd. We reached out to the homeowner after our stay and they were VERY receptive to those suggestions, stating they would get to them that next week. We really appreciated that and would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful home and location!!!

We spent a week at this wonderfully appointed home with our adult children and grandchildren. It was absolutely amazing! Lots of fun things for the kids to do at the home because of the large fenced in side yard and access to Lake Michigan. There are quite a few steps to get to the lake but they are manageable and the lake is just breathtaking plus the home offers two nice kayaks and lots of sand to play in. The backyard has a fire pit, gorgeous views of the lake and has a very private feel. The floor plan of the home is great for large families and everyone was able to enjoy being together then retreat to their private bedroom and bathroom for privacy. The home has a convenient location and we took day trips to Mackinaw Island, Harbor Springs and Kitch-iti-kipi. The rules are posted on the refrigerator and the check out process was easy and straightforward. The owners were response to my questions prior to arriving and helpful with any questions during our stay. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Family Fun!

Our family of 13 had a great time at this property right on Lake Michigan! The house is large enough for all of us to spread out and enjoy all of the amenities. We really enjoyed the game room in the lower level. Our dog really enjoyed the side yard, which is fully fenced! There isn't access to the lake, which we were told in advance, but there is great beach access just a few miles to the East. There is a wonderful hike just across the street at the Little Brevoort Lake boat launch area. Kitchen is well stocked and large enough for us to eat together as a family. There is a nice fire pit in the back, which we used a few times. After dark the mosquitos chased us inside, so we were sure to start the fire a little before dusk. Communication was always really fast and easy. The house was very clean. Location is great with easy access to Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, and some smaller towns to the West. We would definitely recommend this property to other large groups!

Nice place, but slightly overpriced

The property was nice with a great view and outdoor fire-pit. Our kids enjoyed the game room with the foosball table. However, it was a bit pricey for the location and amenities. Basic things were lacking in the kitchen, like sugar and a wine key. The sectional and living room recliners were so broken in places as to be unusable (one recliner was unusable and parts of the sectional were broken). There were no paper towels and we were limited to one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Given the price of the property and large cleaning fee, we expected more amenities and less thrift with regard to toiletries and kitchen supplies. We have stayed at several other properties in this price range and found them more accommodating. Other small things, in the listing it looks like there are stairs down to the water. When we arrived there were large signs saying construction zone, do not enter. We went back and looked at the picture in the listing and the caption did mention the stairs where closed (the caption was not readily evident) but the picture made it look like the stairs were functional and the signs were conspicuously absent in the listing. Also there is an indoor fireplace listed, but it is not workable. We felt like things that don't work shouldn't be listed as amenities. Also, the property is very close to a loud, busy road that makes being outside less enjoyable. The road combined with the steep drop to the water makes the property a poor choice for those with small children.

Kevin, we couldn't agree more about the view! I really wish you had contacted us about the things you referenced in your review. We did have a wine key in the kitchen, it was in one of the drawers. These things get moved around sometimes but we would have been happy to come over and help you locate it or bring another one. There was one recliner chair that we found broken after your stay. I am sorry that was broken and had we have known we would have replaced it promptly. We checked the other furniture and everything else is working. The bluff stairs are noted in a couple of places on the listing as being out of order and we haven't had previous guests that were unaware of this. We also ensured it was noted in the paperwork you signed and email sent to you prior to your stay. We were sad that the ice damaged the stairs before the 2022 season began and did everything possible to be transparent. Our expectations are that the damaged stairs will be repaired during the 2023 season! The privacy fenced in yard is a very safe place for families to enjoy. We had nearly 200 guests with children stay with us this season, who enjoyed the home and everything the UP has to offer. We truly strive to make every guest feel at home with us and wish we would have known of your concerns early in your 3 day stay. We would have done everything possible to ensure you and your 5 guests had what was needed to sit back and enjoy. Best wishes to you and your family!

Great getaway with unbeatable views!

We booked this property for a trip of two families totalling 10 people. We were looking for a place to stay while visiting Mackinac Island and Tahquamenon Falls. This place was perfect. Great location with easy access right onto highway 2 so we could get to everywhere. The house itself was very clean and well-maintained. We had plenty of room to spread out including a large basement with a secondary family room and walkout. The backyard is gorgeous with views of lake Michigan and a fire pit to enjoy. We had a hiccup with the entry keypad as well as the grill they had recently purchased, but the hosts were very responsive and happy to help however they could. Do yourself a favor and check out this rental for your next large group getaway.
