Originally constructed in the 1950s and meticulously renovated in 2014, this charming Spanish-style home combines historical features from decades past with luxurious modern-day amenities. A private walkway offers easy and direct access from Casa de Romance to the sandy shoreline, where you can spend your day splashing in the surf, searching for seashells, or simply soaking up the sunshine.

Inside the gorgeous Living Area, enjoy cozy furniture and plenty of space to relax while you plan for the next day of Outer Banks adventures. Cook up a delicious meal in the colorful, well-lit Kitchen to enjoy in the Dining Area surrounded by windows and bright natural Outer Banks light. Get some rest in one of the multiple bedrooms nearby. Relax in the King Master Bedroom with a TV, Whirlpool Tub, and Laundry space, an additional King Master Bedroom, or near the kiddos in either the King Bedroom or the Bedroom with a Pyramid Bunk. Looking for a way to entertain the kids—and kids at heart—once the sun goes down and your daily beach time comes to a close? Terrible property

Please do not book this property. The cleanliness was nonexistent to say the least. Also safety is a huge concern. The fans were coated in dust along with the air conditioning unit being held up by moldy towels. The washing machine smelled of sewer when you did laundry. Two electrical boxes needed serious help. One of which wasn’t even attached to the building as it should be. The pool and hot tub had tons of sand in them from the previous renter. The fence surrounding the pool was broken. The faucet in the one bathroom fell off when the water was turned on because of how corroded it was. The gas grill was covered in grease/ old cooking remnants. The vent above the gas stove hadn’t been cleaned in forever. I’m pretty positive the comforters were never cleaned. The host was told of the situation and never bothered to do ANYTHING! I am more than disappointed in the lack of customer service and would never recommend Seaside Vacations for a host. This was the worst vacation rental I have ever had. I hope someone will remedy this rental as it is a disgrace.

Nice location - not well kept

From my daughter: “Feedback for Casa de Romance, we were a bit underwhelmed by the place itself. I was surprised we all had to make our own beds, I have never had to do that before and with a 5 pm check in you would think that beds would at least be made for us. All in all the place seemed to be just poorly maintained and not super clean, we saw 2 large spiders and a large cockroach in the kids bedroom. We also didn’t have enough towels or toilet paper. It seemed like multiple light bulbs were out and there was the strange issue with our bedroom being freezing while the back room and the kids room were quite warm. It just felt like whoever owns the place had the attitude of “you’re at the beach, deal with it” more than “we hope you have a wonderful stay” if that makes sense… We are still so grateful for our time together and thankful a place could be found for us to stay in all together. But those would be our comments in regards to a review…” My wife felt the kitchen needed more … serving spoons - coffee cups - the ice machine didn’t work… Casa-de-Romance has great potential but needs invested up grade.

House is right on the beach! The second floor is perfect for dolphin watching. Needs some updates but nothing that impacted our stay. Kitchen well stocked!
