Please note: Hello! Camden Harbor, including Harbor Square was hit pretty hard in the back to back January storms when all of the Maine coast suffered. But, we have rallied! Businesses are up and running for sure, including our next door neighbor, Waterfront Restaurant, and all of the boats and cruises are just fine. We at Harbor Square will not have a full wharf on site until this Fall, simply because the workers required are swamped, which means that those of you in Unit 11 will not have a spot directly on the water. But, we are thinking positively. Please feel free to ask questions before booking. I will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you. Suzanne
Welcome to Harbor Square Eleven!
No matter the season of the year, there is so much to do in the Camden area. One of several opportunities to stay with us, this comfortable and affordable condo is part of our much loved Harbor Square. The second floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo has a full kitchen, an open living space, Internet, AC, a propane fireplace for chilly evenings, and yes, a washer/dryer.
Early riser? Don't miss the sunrise over Penobscot Bay. Love the stars? There is nothing more beautiful than the night sky over the water and Camden Hills. And oh, the moon!
It's a quick walk to Harbor Square's "Residents Only" deck overlooking the harbor, with its incredible views of Camden Hills and Mt. Battie, and of Curtis Island headed out to Penobscot Bay. And because of our location, you are already in the midst of our beautiful downtown, while parked in your garage space.
Boats? They are here! Go for a sail. Rent a kayak. The harbor is alive with boating activity. (We have some availability to tie up a kayak or dinghy to our private float.) Don't miss the views of and from Mount Battie (you can drive up, too) or the many walking trails found in Camden Hills and the surrounding area. Hiking and walking, boating, beaches, golf, picnics, yummy area restaurants of all sorts, sightseeing, museums, theater, music, lighthouses, and so much more are within walking distance or an easy drive. In the cooler months, take a lung clearing walk in the crisp air, ski, hike, and just enjoy. Work from home? We've had a number of guests who work remotely, and our Internet service is just fine. Take time to cook your favorite meal, read a book, or just take a nap to restore yourself. Explore. Relax. Even work. Yes, you can do all of it from this perfect location.
Stay by the week Saturday to Saturday, June through October. If you are looking for longer term, we can talk about by the month(s) through Fall, Winter, and early Spring. We are delighted to offer this very sweet condo for your enjoyment.
Questions? Send them to me and I will respond as quickly as possible.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Suzanne
So that you know: Harbor Square is built above both harbor and street level, which helps with the views, the breezes, the lovely calm atmosphere, and keeping clear of big storm waves in the winter, (except maybe for the garage). There are stairs to the courtyard level, in all units, and to the "Residents Only" wharf where tables and chairs are set up for your use. (Nope, we don't shovel the wharf in the winter, but it's still fun). Sz
