We stayed here to visit the Great Smokey Mountains national park. The parts of the park that we visited were about 30 min to an hour drive away. My partner and I were able to enjoy a few hikes, waterfalls, and wildlife sightings. The property is historic and well preserved with a cozy feel. Great for a short trip!

Perfect location for us, comfortable surroundings. Great places to eat nearby. The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for two people. Host was very communicative and welcoming. Thanks again for a great stay!

My wife and I a great time staying here! It was exactly what we booked, and we could not have been happier. It's only 15-30 minutes from tons of things to do in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, and the check-in and check-out process were extremely easy.

The property was close to the lake. So that was good. But the bathroom was so small and inconvenient. The tub was reallyhigh. Hard to get out of. And the floor was falling in, in the livingroom.

I'm sorry you felt that way about our special place. We did mention in the listing and in messages that the spot in the livingroom has a dip in it because it was actually a design made for the days when they did not have refigerators and it was where they stored items to keep cool. The cottage is a part of history since the 1800's so it does have character. We try and keep it as close to what it was meant to be. We understand this sort of space is not for everyone but we wish you the best.

Adorable cottage, comfortable and peaceful. We had a very late arrival time, so I appreciated the ease of checking in and out. The hosts are friendly and very quick to respond. We enjoyed the character of the place and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent and cozy

This was the best by far I have ever stayed at, we will be back!! Owners were very attentive on our check in and the place offered a very cozy, rustic relaxing feel. We absolutely loved it!

The space and accommodations were exactly as specified from the website. It was away from all the hustle and bustle of the crowds and easy to get too. I would recommend this rental for a nice little getaway weekend.
