The word "rare" is overused in description, but this condo has an authentically rare combination of views --- of the Gulf on the south balcony, and of the Lagoon on the north one. All in one lovely space. It clinched the deal for us! We have a new pier and a covered launch (thank you Hurricane Sally!) with a counter that you can clean your catch on, and a bunch of outdoor grills you can cook it on and take it up to the condo to feast on. We've just added a smallish electric grill on the north patio. No open flame allowed up there, so if you prefer the taste of charcoal grilling, there are two big ones down by the pool. If you have your own small craft, there's a rack you can lock it up on while you're here. If you don't have a kayak or a canoe of your own to bring when you come, you can rent one in town. (I hear the Dolphin Cruise is fantastic.) We also have a big locker full of beach toys, beach chairs & umbrellas for you to use, and a wagon for you to pull it to the beach with. The only beach accessory you'll need to bring with you is your own beach towels. Then, after you've swum (is swum a word?) in the ocean and dipped into the pool, been blessed by the beautiful double views, and generally spent the day taking it all in, all day long, you'll sink into our premium mattresses, sleep on fresh premium bedding, and dry yourself off from your bath or your shower with ultra-premium plush, thick, plentiful towels. If you're here in the cool season you can soak in our heated indoor pool (you can actually use it in the warm season too. No worries there.) Our fitness room has 2 ellipticals, a recumbent bicycle, stationary bikes, a Life Fitness cable-motion multi-excercise machine, and a treadmill. And of course a TV mounted on the wall. If you can take your eyes off the Lagoon.
We've made sure the kitchen has quality, and enough, pots and pans, as well as quality and adequate utensils, small appliances and heavy Oneida stainless steel service for 12 silverware. You can prepare whatever your heart desires -- after you've enjoyed the area's truly fabulous seafood restaurants of course. I personally can't ever leave until I've had a shrimp po boy at Fish River Grill. That sauce! That Swamp Soup! We love it. Add a Gentilly cake from the Rouse's grocery store. It's the two Gulf Shores essential food groups: Fish River Grill shrimp po boys and Rouse's Gentilly cakes. Don't leave without having had one of each at least. We also bought you a set of Marguerita glasses, two blenders, pink salt and an icemaker at the wet bar so you can keep everyone's favorite beach drink coming. If you're a teetotaller just make them without the Tequila. Icy and great! We make them for the grandkids all the time. We've arranged and furnished this wonderful place to help you have what we sincerely hope is the very, very best of times for you and yours.
