Nestled in the gorgeous Canon foothills with spectacular views of Taos and the surrounding mountains, this home is the perfect escape only two miles from the city center. Your peaceful retreat features a sprawling stone patio with an outdoor fireplace, al fresco dining, and even a private hot tub. When you are not enjoying life al fresco, head inside where the beautiful space is curated to meet all of your comforts and needs. Relax next to the wood-burning stove in the cozy living area or choose from a selection of games for a family night! The main bedroom features an en suite bathroom, patio access, and a wood-burning fireplace.

Taos is great

Everything was adequate and the outside areas were great. The ceiling fans should have the remotes available when the weather is warm since ventilation for the home is lacking when the wind is calm or not from a favorable direction. Issue was corrected once the local Vacasa team became involved and contacted the owner.

Fun Family Home

We stayed at this home in Taos for 4 nights and had the best time enjoying the hot tub and outdoor space with the stunning views. The kitchen has everything you would need, the living room had plenty of games, books and movies. You might even see some wildlife walking through the backyard! Very close to town and attractions. Definitely recommend!

Great views

We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was nice and clean! The house had great views with lots of outdoor space. The house is a little outdated but everything worked properly. Close to town and about 35 min from Taos ski resort. Would recommend to a friend!

Sister/Cousins Retreat

We love this house, location, neighborhood; view of Taos and sunset from foothills, only minutes from Taos plaza. Hot tub plenty large enough for the four of us. We love that this is a house people have lived in themselves -- if you look for it, you will probably find it. Lots of games, books, full bar setting with variety of glasses, outdoor settings on 3 sides with kiva fire place and fire pit in front; 2 inside fireplaces. Stocked with plenty of firewood, we used 3 of the 4 fireplaces provided. Could have used some indoor fireplace and TV remote instructions. All in all, we loved the place!!

Good but not great

Biggest single issue we had was a lack of documentation on how all of the systems in the house worked. For example, there were 5 different remote controls for the TV but no clear direction as to what worked what. Ceiling lights in two rooms (the living room and the master bedroom didn't work - even the property manager's handyman couldn't get them to work. The fire place on the porch, while lovely, didn't draw well. In our previous experiences with VRBO there was a notebook which clearly spelled out how everything worked - here, it was all trial and error. Nothing was dramatically bad, but at these prices we expected a more seamless experience. The view from the porch was breathtaking, the set up was nice, the property manager was good, but overall it was not up to the standard of our previous experiences.
