Wow-a really nice surprise

Large, comfortable unit. Well appointed, everything worked great. And plenty of fluffy towels! Unit is on the top floor so there are stairs

NIce Unit but No Water

The Ridges #D1 was a nice unit but we did not have a chance to enjoy it because the water was not turned on when we entered the unit. To make matters worse, the local management team could not figure out how to turn on the water. Apparently they did not have the correct key to access where the water shut valve was located.

Great Location near Giant Steps

I was a little worried about cleanliness after reading other reviews. I don't know if Vacasa has the market cornered on this area, but it seemed to be a theme that cleanliness was an issue. The condo was cute and just the right size for two adults and three teens. The beds, linens and common areas were all clean and ready for guests. The only item that needed cleaning was the stovetop; I don't use electric, so I thought the discoloration on the heating elements was normal until I cleaned them and it all came off. The kitchen could use a can opener and countertop cleaner; the only cleaner was bathroom spray with bleach and dish soap. The address on the reservation actually takes you to the complex below The Ridges; it was dark and there was so much snow (literally up to the street signs) when we got in that it took us a minute to find the right building. It is on the third floor, but there's only two short flights of stairs. Once in our unit, we really enjoyed the nighttime view of the slopes all lit up for night skiing. The views are great from the front of the cabin and the bedrooms have views of aspen trees, which is so peaceful. The unit has the basics, including wifi and ability to log into different streaming services. It snowed almost the entire time we were there; the complex did a great job of clearing the snow each morning so cars could get out. There's still snow on the ground, but cleared enough to drive on with AWD. Vacasa did send an email warning guests to have an AWD/4X4, chains, etc and people need to believe it! The drive is a little steep getting up to the buildings and they're not exaggerating, in this weather you MUST be prepared! We have AWD and still had to get a running start to get up the last part of the drive, as did a few other 4x4 trucks after us. Winter weather is unpredictable; this is a small town with limited services. Would book this condo again, priced well for the spring season.

Super convenient location

We had friends staying in a unit close by, and we all remarked how this condo had more space. It's not advertised, but the loft bed upstairs even has a foam bed underneath where kids may be happy staying. We were just mere minutes away from Brian Head resorts, where my kids just learned to ski.
