In NJ for family wedding, house worked well for 6 adults. Great location, steps to downtown and brisk walk to the beach. Lots of dining options and easy morning coffee run. Comfy beds and lovely porch to rest and relax on. Jim and Jane were always in touch to make sure everything was good. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is charming, a perfect combination of old world style and modern conveniences. Has a fully stocked updated kitchen and bathrooms, furnished with many comfortable pieces. It is conveniently located, close to Main Street where there are a variety of restaurants and shopping. The hosts have a notebook filled with information about the area and nearby attractions that was very helpful. They also were excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay.Nearby, I recommend the Town Grill for breakfast and the Coastal Canteen for dinner, ask to be seated upstairs if noise level is an issue. I highly recommend Atlantic Offshore Fishery in Point Pleasant for dinner, they also sell fresh fish to take home and cook.We were there at the beginning of a Nor’easter, so were unable to use all of the amenities available, but did enjoy having coffee on the back porch and looking at the well maintained yard. The inlet is less than a mile away, we enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and looking at the waves. It was a little too windy to fully enjoy the house front porch, but it is also very nice. I would definitely recommend choosing this to book for your next trip. You won’t be disappointed!

Über den Gastgeber

Zu Gast bei Jane Brady

Bild für Gastgeberprofil
Jane and her husband have owned multiple shore properties for decades along the neighbouring Manasquan towns, including properties in Spring Lake, Point Pleasant, Normandy Beach, Seaside Park and Lavalette. In this latest renovation project, their goal was to bring a sleek, modern ambiance to this historic Victorian home. With a bit of work and a lot of vision/experience, they've turned this timeless home into the ultimate shore space, with open concept elements and fully modern amenities, while also keeping the core structure and key charms (stained glass windows, original hardware and trademark hardwood floors) fully in tact.
