Eco Haus Costa Da Caprica nah am Strand

This beautiful ecological house is brand new, built in a closed condominium amongst nature and other residential and vacation outlets. Centuries old evergreen pine trees forest is waiting outside your door to explore, walk for about 5 minutes and you’ll find a gorgeous viewpoint to the ocean and even a secret path to the beach for the brave.

The house is made of ecological materials, but it’s very well isolated on the outside with Portuguese cork. The lines are straight simple and modern, but the wooden ceiling gives it a little bit of a rustic feel.

The living room, kitchen and dining room are all in a large 35 sq.m. space. There’re 3 double bedrooms about 11 sq.m each. One of them has an ensuite bathroom, while the other two share a common bathroom. It’s possible for 1 adult or 2 small children to sleep on the sofa. WIFI modem is available. The outside space is large and comfortable. You’ll find a dining table, chairs and a lounge area with sofas in Summer.

In the morning you can take your breakfast outside and enjoy the clear blue skies, for lunch or dinner barbecue should be in order. You can buy fish, meat and vegetables from the supermarkets nearby or in Almada Mall. If you’re not into cooking there're local restaurants around the house that offer cheap and delicious Portuguese food.

Whenever possible clean energy from solar panels is used.

Here’re some simple rules to follow in order to have a pleasant vacation

1. Use the dishwasher after 9AM, but before the sun goes down
2. Use the air conditioners while the sun is up only


Another IMPORTANT NOTE is that the house is near a national road that connects various beaches, so there will be some cars noise during the day. In the night you might overhear the sea waves crushing on the sand. Therefore we provide earplugs. If you’re very sensitive to noise, please take these circumstances into account.

A car is essential to explore the surroundings.

Here’re some of the places that can make part of your vacation
1. The nearest beach is 5 min away.
2. Other beaches like Lagoa da Albufeira, Alfarim, Fonte de Talha that are 20-30 min away.
3. Arrabida National Park with its gorgeous beaches is only 30 min away.
4. You can do wine tasting around Palmela
5. You can even visit Costa Vicentina - the wildest coast of Portugal, this will take you between 1.30-2h one way
6. Lisbon is reachable within 20 min
7. Freeport Outlet shopping is 30 min away, while Almada Forum shopping is only 10
