Small spacious lakefront cabin built new in 2021, queen Murphy bed, includes free use of kayaks, mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards, lake swimming in season, small kitchen, 3/4 bath, covered patio with Adirondack chairs, BBQ, fire pit with wood provided . Breathtaking sunsets, birds, fish jumping and an occasional beaver. Relax by a fire, walk a quiet dirt wood road or try your luck at fishing . 3 km to store with take out diner, NS liquor store, and more. Very nice hotub, cabins are small, but very cozy; with a rustic feel. View of the lake is picturesque. The bed is very comfortable.

The cabin we stayed in was the smaller of the 3, it is a little small with the bed down but still very comfortable for 2. There is definitely care that they put into these cabins, by how well they have been built. The bathroom is ample for 2 people and the Kitchenet has everything you need. The barbecue works well and the hosts make sure you have everything you need. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again it was that good and well worth the price for a weeks stay.

Cozy and Comfy

My only suggestion would be to remove the oversized couch (which can be another bed) and replace with another chair allowing more space in the unit that is designed for 2 people.The place was clean and bed comfy. We enjoyed our stay!

One of the best vacations I ever had

The property was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was perfect for a nice little get away. The hosts respond asap to any concern or question you have and the property has a bunch of water based activities to experience on the lake. We're definitely booking again next summer!

I was so looking forward to a stay in the woods in your darling cabin. However, my traveling partner had a mental breakdown and left the area for her home in FL.Please note neither of us stayed there unfortunately. Cozy tiny cabin in a great location to explore the Yarmouth & Digby area. The bed is a bit on the firm side for my old bones--but aside from that, we found this to be a great little place to use as our base to explore the area.

Beautiful spot on lake doucette, cute cottage with everything you needed. Barbecue, bonfire pit, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards (even a peddle boat) all right there for you. The bed was really comfortable, not hard or anything. Host was great no problem whatsoever. We would definitely go back again 10/10.

Beautiful property

Our stay was for only be night so we didn’t have a chance to use the SUPs, bikes or canoes. We enjoyed the view of the lake from our cabin. The cabin #9 which we stayed in is well designed and functional but was quite small for the two of us, especially when the Murphy Bed was extended. There’s plenty to do there with a longer stay and Wanda gave us good directions to a beautiful beach nearby.
