As reflected in our reviews for this and our other properties, your experience was not typical, and we're sorry your stay did not meet expectations. The owner was already aware of the broken blinds and had installed curtains as a temporary solution while waiting for the new blinds to arrive and be installed. Regarding the bedroom fan, we offered to have our caretaker return to inspect and address it, but that follow-up visit was declined. The slow-draining tub was not brought to our attention until the day before your departure, leaving very little opportunity to investigate and resolve it before your stay ended. Your visit took place during the region's busiest event, when demand and nightly rates are at their highest. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the property's location, which is one of its most sought-after features for guests wanting easy access to both the village and the IRONMAN racecourse. After your departure, we made several attempts to discuss your experience but were unfortunately unable to reach you. Because the owner genuinely cares about guest satisfaction, a $500 refund was proactively issued to your credit card before your review was posted.
