Overall, it was a positive experience. Frank was very responsive and polite. Unfortunately, the place was not properly cleaned upon arrival. However, Frank arranged a cleaner as soon as possible.

Great stay place is clean fully loaded with everything a house needs. The owner was great also. In the middle of all main Hollywood attractions. I will be requesting this house first every time I come to Southern California.

Frank's home is a true gem and is so close to everything. Our stay was short, but our family of 4 felt very comfortable. Frank has thought of every detail - the beds, the linens, the decor, the kitchen amenities, the touring recommendations and everything was so clean. Much much better than a hotel!

The Hollywood House was perfect for our family!

We had plenty of room for the four of us. The bedrooms each having there own bath was convenient. We also enjoyed having a full kitchen, spacious living room, and outdoor space. We walked to Hollywood Boulevard and several restaurants! The drive to the beaches and other attractions were very close. The stay was one to remember!

Meticulously clean and beautifully decorated!

Frank's home is just that...a true home! He has provided anything a traveler may need. The house is meticulously clean, conveniently located, (walking distance to many attractions, shopping, restaurants), very nicely furnished. The beds are quite comfortable as well. Nice location

This property is on a quiet street in West Hollywood and is conveniently located near shopping and sights. The host is great and is quick to respond to any situation that arises. The house is furnished with high-end furnishings. The kitchen is small but functional. We especially like the private off-street parking and the hedge that surrounds the property. We would stay here again.

Amazing home in the center of it all!

Everything is as nice as it looks in the pictures. Frank is very easy to work with and flexible. Every action he took was to ensure we had a great stay and an awesome customer service experience! The yard was a dream come true and we loved hanging out there, when we were at the house. Great location! Centrally located to everything. Five Stars!!

Wonderful modern home

This home exceeded our expectations. The furnishings and appliances were beautiful. The kitchen looked much better in person than in the photos. It had everything you could possibly need. Frank thought of it all, even a handy binder listing nearby restaurants and attractions. Frank was also very accommodating and easy to deal with. I had my security deposit back by time I was off the airplane. I would highly recommend this property. It had everything we were looking for and more. Thank you Frank!

A True Five-Star Experience

Based on the previous glowing reviews, I had high expectations for this rental property, and they were met or exceeded in all respects. The house was plenty spacious for our group, which included my wife and three daughters (17, 14, 9). It sits in a quiet, safe-looking neighborhood and is perfectly situated for hitting the usual sightseeing spots. The kitchen has modern appliances and is stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a meal or snack. And the bathrooms have great fixtures and terrific showers. Our crew enjoyed the huge television and comfortable couch after a full day of touristy stuff. Frank manages this rental property very well, and he's very accomodating and easy to work with on logistics. In short, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home base while taking in the L.A. sights.

We LOVED this house, great location & owner!!

My friends and I had planned an L.A. trip for over a year. We contacted Frank about renting his Hollywood house for the week. Frank was VERY responsive to all of our emails and phone calls, and was always very pleasant to work with. Frank was even understanding and calm, and got a plumber to the house on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend for some minor repair work! The house itself is very well appointed, in a great neighborhood, and is in walking distance to Hollywood and Highland, close to The Grove and The Original Farmers' Market, and tons of other L.A. and Hollywood attractions. I can't rave about the house and Frank enough!! You MUST contact Frank if you are considering renting a house in Hollywood, you will love it!! We plan to call on Frank again, once our travel plans bring us back to Hollywood!

Wonderful House - Great Host and Enjoyable Stay

My family of 5 stayed at DeLongpre for 4 nights. It was such a great stay. Frank was such a wonderful host. He got the house ready for us and waited for us to arrive and showed us the house on a Thanksgiving Day! The house is modern, very clean and is very well equipped with all necessary kicthen applicances and toiletries. All the small details have been taken care of - even international plug heads. It made our stay very comfortable. It is close by to grocery shop (Ralph) - not sure how far it is to walk, as we did have a car. There were restaurant and fast food shops close enough for us to walk to. The driveway is not too long but it fitted our car - a VW Passat. It was not a problem for us. Frank returned us the deposit very quickly. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Hollywood - for its convenience and price. Thanks Frank.

A hideaway in Hollywood

Me and my best friend rented this property for my birthday. First impressions are lasting. Frank made an excellent first impression even before we arrived. Frank was extremely flexible and responsive to our requests and questions. The pictures do not do this rental justice. The amenities in this rental property were state of the art and quaint. We felt like were at relatives house in the midst of the Hollywood lime light. There are a lot of restaurants, touristy attractions near by literally within walking distance. I couldn't believe that LA Ink was literally around the corner as well stellar views into the Hollywood Hills. I would like to thank you Frank for over extending yourself and your home. Well located quiet bungalow in the middle of Hollywood

We enjoyed our stay at this large, centrally located Hollywood home. Frank was great to work with and made check-in/out painless. There's a driveway for your car inside a gated/fenced property. It was a very pleasant surprise to arrive late in the evening in December and see the flat's holiday decorations. The master bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the curtains on the window that provided light control! The shower has delightful water pressure. Frank has provided everything we could need including washer/dryer, iron, blow dryer, plenty of towels and extra blankets. There's a grocery store within walking distance as well as restaurants. The historic Hollywood walk of fame and Grauman's Chinese theater are within .5 miles. The kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances but could use a little sprucing up to match the rest of the house. Though it was too cold and wet while we were visiting, there is a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy socal weather. I would stay here again.

Hollywood Christmas!

This little house is bursting with character. The first thing we noticed is that it resembles the "Secret Garden" or "Alice in Wonderland." The property is enclosed within a tall box hedge and locked gate. Once you enter, there is tidy landscaping and patio furniture where you can take your morning coffee. Unfortunately for us, we seemed to have brought the rain with us from Nebraska, so didn't spend any time outside. The house is decorated tastefully. There are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, which made it perfect for the needs of our adult family. We had lots to celebrate: Christmas and our son's engagement at Universal Studios. The location is ideal. We walked to the tourist area of downtown Hollywood, the grocery store, local restaurants, and to a wonderful church for Christmas Eve services. Universal Studios is a short 10-15 minute drive and the Burbank Airport is not much further. The driveway accommodated one car, but we had no problem finding additional parking on the streets. The area felt very safe. Finally, Frank Villafuerte is a prince. He is professional and congenial. I highly...no, emphatically...recommend this place if you are looking for something special.

Truly A Home Away From Home- Five Stars

We have rented numerous times with Home Away and our experience staying in Frank's home has set the bar so high for any future vacations I can't imagine it can be topped. The home is beautifully decorated with every amenity thoughtfully provided for us. The beds are so comfortable and there's even a work station in the master bedroom. This was very helpful as my husband had some last minute conference calls and work that he needed to do for half a day. The house has plenty of space so he was able to concentrate and the rest of us could still be in vacation mode. The outside yard is beautifully landscaped and has a relaxing area to sit and enjoy the sunshine with a glass of wine. This home is a prefect location in the middle of all the Hollywood action within walking distance and also any store to pick up forgotten items. ( Hollywood Blvd., Sunset, Jimmy Kimmel Studio, Pink's Hotdogs, Dolby Theatre, Starbucks, Target, CVS, Ralph's Supermarket, nail & hair salons, restaurants, etc.) We also had a car and parking was an additional bonus. Driving from this location we found it very convenient as you're so centrally located that even in LA traffic it was a breeze to get to Warner Brothers, Santa Monica, Malibu, Mulholland drive, Runyon Canyon, etc. Frank was a gracious host and even met us at 11:30 PM to welcome us to the home. He was so enjoyable and professional to deal with and provided so much helpful information. I would highly recommend staying here for a wonderful vacation and you won't regret it!

Christmas in Hollywood

This is our third visit at Frank's home, and once again it was wonderful. It has always been one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in, and the location can't be beat. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking and serving, which we did on Christmas Eve. Frank is always just minutes away via text or email, even when he is out of the country! You can depend on a great place to stay at a reasonable price with Frank's home. We'll be back!

Bellissima casa, ottima posizione

La casa è bellissima, proprio come nella descrizione. Molto spaziosa, due camere ampie, ogni camera ha il suo bagno, entrambi i bagni con doccia, salone ampio, zona pranzo ampia, cucina ampia e ben attrezzata. Il titolare Frank è gentilissimo e davvero molto disponibile. La posizione è fantastica, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla walk of fame, vicinissimo a tutto, supermercati, ristoranti, distributori. Pur essendo vicino alla parte centrale di Hollywood la zona è molto tranquilla e poco rumorosa . Consigliatissimo a tutte le famiglie.

Perfect place and host

From the moment we booked to arrival and departure the experience was perfect. The house was exactly as described in the description and was clean and inviting. Frank kept in constant communication throughout the process. My only comment would be that the pictures in the description to not do this property justice. It's a lot bigger and brighter than it looks with the parking off road and gated. We will be booking again for sure. Thank you Frank.

I lived in the house for 12 years and I love the location & it's a walking distance to tourist attractions, fitness gym, grocery & restaurants. Its a good area & it's fenced w/ ficus trees. It has a nice yard w/ bbq grill. You can read all the reviews.

It's a perfect location. It's walking distance to Hollywood Walk of Fame & other tourist attractions. Grocery, stores, restaurants, fast food places, fitness gym, coffee shops & sushi bar. are just around the corner. Master bedroom has NEW KING SIZE BED, new white living room set & new gas range.
