Glamping is made possible in the front bedroom that comes furnished with a Bunk Bed (Full Beds), wood desk and brick hearth. Uncanny butterfly wallpaper in the supporting bathroom draws on hints of Hannibal Lecter with a fascinating tiled shower to match. Cognac elements dress down the rear bedroom with Queen Bed and adjoining second full bathroom. Elegant, bold, and swanky. Do not be fashionably late, or you will miss out.

Important Parking Information:
Parking is extremely limited given the dense urban environment, so we recommend using a ride share service or carpooling when feasible. Free parking is on a first come basis and is available at the rear of the property, as well as the side of the property just off Patterson Avenue. Free street parking is available as well on surrounding streets.
The Neighborhood:
Situated on Bardstown Road (voted Louisvilles Best Street) in The Highlands Historic District, you will have plenty of unique and iconic options to explore during your stay, no car required. The Highlands is extremely walkable and bike friendly with over two dozen restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, breweries, and endless locally owned places to find new treasures. Nearby Historic Cherokee Park designed by Fredrick Olmsted systems is home to over 400 acres of walking and running trails, vast green spaces and waterways to explore.
Bungalou borders downtown Louisville and the popular NuLu area where you can attend shows, sporting events, visit 4th Street Live, and walk across the Ohio River atop the pedestrian bridge to Indiana.

Ride share services are recommended as parking is extremely limited. The Highlands is very walkable, and many scooters are nearby as well.

Bardstown Road is a lively street with walkability to many surrounding restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shops, entertainment, and nightlife that can stay open until 2am.
Neat Bourbon Bar is located at the front of the property. Guests will have private back door access without ever having to step foot off the property. Neat Bottle Shop has all essentials for sale including spirits, beer, wine, and bourbon.
