This is not the standard we aim to provide, and the cookware, bed fittings, bathroom fixtures, and missing items have been reviewed and addressed with our team. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry some aspects of your stay did not meet expectations and appreciate the chance to clarify a few points. Your reservation was for two nights with standard check-in and check-out times. Requests for early arrival and late departure would have extended occupancy significantly, which wasn’t possible due to cleaning and changeover schedules. The late checkout fee reflected the additional time in the property. We regret that the property took time to warm up and that two radiators did not function as they should. Had we been able to access the cottage sooner, we would have addressed this during your stay. We also apologise that the dishwasher had not been emptied and that some cleaning fell below our usual standard — this has been raised with our housekeeping team. Guidance on hot water usage is provided as the system is domestic rather than commercial. We’re pleased you enjoyed the main living space, garden, and hot tub. While we’re sorry this stay did not meet your expectations, pricing, stay duration, and access times were in line with the booking terms agreed at reservation. We wish you well in your future travels
