For a turnkey vacation experience, the listed price includes checkout cleaning, bed linens and bathroom towel sets for the occupancy of the property.
After a long day at the beach, relax at your peaceful oasis. This property abuts the John H. Chafee nature preserve, managed by the Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex, a network of national lands and waters set aside to conserve America's fish, wildlife and plants. There are views of the nearby Narrow River. The large backyard deck is very relaxing and allows you to connect with nature and bird watch.
The property itself is updated and modern and provides all the comforts you will need. The kitchen has granite countertops with a counter height seating area and stainless appliances. The kitchen, dining area and living room are essentially one large space allowing for ease in gathering and hanging out. The main level also includes a separate glass sunroom area with additional seating. Two bedrooms and one full bathroom complete the first floor. A master suite is found on the second floor with central air accessible to the whole house.
Narragansett Town Beach is minutes away by car. Those who are so inclined could easily walk or bike to the beach in a short period of time. The shops in the Pier Market Place are also nearby along with some fine dining establishments including Trio/Celeste, the Coast Guard House, Crazy Burger and PJ's Pub.
Kimberly Drive divides South Kingstown and Narragansett but the property is actually closer to the heart of Narragansett. It's a short walk to the elementary school and Sprague Park where you will find tennis courts and a playground. It's also minutes from downtown Wakefield where you will find the charming Main Street as well as grocery shops, the Wakefield Mall, many restaurants as well as Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts! Don't forget about Brickley's Ice Cream on Main Street, a "must visit" location!
The William C. O'Neil BIke Path, referred to as the South County Bike Path locally, is a two minute bike ride from the house where it can be accessed on nearby Riverside Drive. The 7.8 mile path will take you from Narragansett to the Kingston Train Station near the University of Rhode Island. It's especially scenic as you traverse through downtown Wakefield, Peace Dale and it becomes more wooded as you leave the center of town where you will ride over scenic bridges with ponds and scenic vistas.
All in all, this is a fantastic centrally located destination with lots of nearby attractions yet relaxing in it's pastoral setting.
