Der Peña Mar Ocean Club ist ein gut gesicherter Komplex mit 24-Stunden-Sicherheitsdienst. Die Entwicklung verfügt über drei Pools, 1 Kinderbecken, 1 Tennisplatz, einen Basketballplatz, einen Whirlpool, einen Wanderweg und einen Fitnessraum mit Sauna, Spielplatz und Clubhaus. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist spektakulär und Sie können Villa Marina, Palomino, Palominito Inseln und an einem klaren Tag Culebra und St. sehen. Thomas. Zugang zur Wohnung ohne Treppen, Parkplätze für 2 Autos, geschlossene Anlage

Der Komplex ist sehr sicher mit 24 Stunden Sicherheit und Eingangstor. Schnorchelausflüge sind 1 Minute entfernt (am Yachthafen, den Sie vom Deck aus sehen); Playa Seven Seas ist ein wunderschöner und nicht überfüllter Strand. ein Naturschutzgebiet mit geführten Touren ist 5 min; und El Yunque Caribbean National Forest ist 20 min. Lebensmitteleinkauf ist 2 min entfernt. Sie können auch eine Fähre (5 Minuten entfernt) oder ein Flugzeug auf dem lokalen Flughafen nehmen, um die Inseln Culebra und Vieques zu besuchen. Das El Conquistador Resort und der Golfplatz sind 3 Minuten entfernt. Zu Fuß zu den Jachthäfen, wo Sie einen Tagesausflug nach Icacos, Palominos, Ramos und anderen Inseln unternehmen können. The room was very clean, the view was amazing from the balcony, the pool and hot tub were very cold. The host did not leave the contract with the gate attendant and took almost 2 hours to get into the condo. I reported that the refrigerator was leaking and host didn’t send anyone out to fix it. The second bathroom the faucet was loose.

Miriam I greatly appreciate your stay at Penamar but I am very sorry about the inconvenient at the entrance with the security guard, I do not know what happened because every time a guest is going to stay we have to send all the documents to the administrator's office 24 hours before the guest arrives at Penamar, otherwise we have to pay a fine, which I have not had to pay until now. Next time say to security guard to call me or if you had called me at that time your entry would have been immediate. Regarding the leak at the dispenser of the front door of the refig. when you try to get water, I refunded you $ 50 because I knew it was difficult to find a technitian to fix it during your stay because unfortunately from December 24 to Jan 6, Puerto Rico is on "vacation mode" and the technitian who could have fixed it was sick with the flu and didn't want to infect you. On January 8th the leak and the and the bathroom faucet were fixed. Sorry for the inconvenient and we are here to serve you.

Fajardo is a gem

We came here to visit the Bio Bay but realized there was plenty to see in the area. It was great to have space with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The building was quiet and we even had time to swim in the pool. Carlos was very prompt and helpful. Check in and out was easy.

This property was everything it was advertised, room for all seven of us. The master bedroom and bath was separated from the other bath and bedrooms,...for those that snore!!!. The expansive outdoor balcony made for another dining area when the weather was good, and during our stay, if we dined in, it was on the balcony. Parking for two vehicles,...awesome! A perfect location, for a larger Family or a group of Friends, to hub out of ,while exploring the eastern part of the Island. We would definitely return!Steve & Family

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay at Carlos’ condo for our kids’ first overseas trip. Great place with fresh renovations, beautiful views, and of course the great pools. Carlos was a very responsive host and made sure that every issue noted by a previous reviewer had been addressed. He even had some tasteful holiday decorations and candles around since we were there over Christmas holiday. He was very interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay and had no troubles throughout. Would definitely recommend and our family would definitely return again. Thank you, Carlos!

Great place and location~ close to the Marina~small inconvenience

We enjoyed our stay but had some inconvenience when host was not able to provide code/location for lock box. Waited outside the door for 4 hours with our belongings until I was able to get VRBO to help us and they offered a $400 voucher for 4 night which for local rates was not enough for our stay. Finally, host sent us a text and call and informed us of the miscommunication saying that he contacted us to WhatsApp which was never mentioned in initial contact. Finally, we were able to access our place and enjoyed location, lay out of the condo as well as access to the marina for our catamaran excursion. Host offered a monetary day compensation for inconvenience!!! PR people are nice and accommodating. We will be back!!!!

Not worth it!

The property was totally dark when we came in, unable to turn any lights. Switches that did not produce any light or did not work, windows blocked by hurricane shutters, etc. Upon arrival, the property had a funky smell, it felt humid and hot... at least the A/C should have been left running to avoid discomfort. Presentation is a ZERO. Closet doors in the kitchen/laundry are open and inoperable. The overall look at the house was dirty. Cushions were dirty, stained, smelly, not inviting. The fridge developed some moisture in the outside of the door. Presence of mold was not only found but it was visible. ALL the ceiling fans are in the same frequency, therefore, you turn one one and ALL of them turn on... you turn the light on in the living room and the light in the master comes up, this is very inconvenient. The drawers in the dresser (master bed) have mold, smell so bad, unable to use them to store my close. While taking a shower, I soon realized that you either burn your skin as the water is beyond hot or you simply had to put up with cold, I mean, COLD water... there is not middle ground here for a "warm" shower. Extra towels would've been appreciated, just a single set. The living room is super hot. Sliding doors didn't lock. They slide harder than usual and sounds in need of grease or repair. This place is definitely not worth what I paid for.

It is unfortunate that you decided to share it publicly, but I am happy to share (not only with you, but with all my future guests) that now most (if not all) your concerns have already been addressed, to the point that now both bathrooms have been nicely remodeled, and the apartment looks (and feels) amazing. First, I must say that Carlos is an excellent host! Always available for questions and amazingly friendly. This place is a great value, very affordable and a great spot to explore the Fajardo area. The balcony views are amazing and we enjoyed sitting out each night after our busy days. The condo has definitely been used a lot, but still nice and the minor spots of wear here and there didn't bother us. Perhaps the kitchen cabinets, etc could use a little scrubbing but we generally just slept here and didn't cook. The pools at this property are very nice, especially enjoyed the one with the water slide although the hours for that seem unpredictable.The lock box for entry is difficult to use, but a call to Carlos and he helped me through it immediately so no down time at all. Perhaps a new lockbox would help.In summary, would 100% stay here again, great launching spot for the east end of PR! Thanks again, Carlos!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Spacious, Very Safe

We bought our son and his friends to Puerto Rico to celebrate his 15th birthday. The condo was great, the view was more than amazing to the ocean and marina, super great pools and very close to everything you can want and need. Overall lovely, but owner needs to do some safety repairs

The good: We absolutely loved our stay in Puerto Rico. The condo was lovely and a very good value for my family and me. The owner was very kind to have his brother drop off chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, and the view of the ocean was amazing. We felt very safe in the gated community. It was quiet and the grounds are well maintained. Puerto Rico itself was just wonderful! The condo is very close to everything in Fajardo and El Yunque. The not-so-good: The hot tub was cold the whole time we were there. Apparently, this is an ongoing issue. The only door to the condo swung shut from the wind and went right through the molding and trapped us inside. This happened twice and the first time almost made us late for an excursion reservation but we managed to use some tools we found to get ourselves out. The second time we were unable to get out for well over an hour. It was very upsetting to think of what would have happened in a fire or if we were in a rush to get to the airport, etc. The owner was very dismissive and told me to "relax". He knew this had happened before because he gave me a vague warning in a text about "being careful" with the door, but didn't fully explain about the door getting stuck. He installed an eye hook behind the door to keep it open which really isn't helpful as it's a security issue. If he knew there was a problem, he should have just installed something to slow the door close or another solution. The security guard had to come and bust the door in to get us out and he ended up injuring himself and bled all over the floor! He also said this is a problem with the units at the building and the owners are encouraged to fix the door swing. It was a little too much drama for our last night there! The kitchen could use some basic spices (salt, pepper, sugar, garlic, etc) and was missing some kitchen basics such as a cookie sheet. The bathroom bidet was dripping from the piping so we couldn't use it. Some minor updates and repairs would really make this place a little nicer! I tell this not to discourage anyone from renting this place. Overall, I still give it a good value and thought the owner was a nice guy. I am writing this just to hold him accountable for fixing the door so other families don't run into the same problem or safety issues. Just make sure the issue is fixed before renting.
