Das original HULILI FARM COTTAGE (ausgesprochen who-lee-lee) wurde 2010 für Gäste eröffnet und hat so viele wundervolle Gäste empfangen, dass es an der Zeit war, mehr Menschen die Möglichkeit zu geben, die Farm zu genießen. Bitte sehen Sie in unserer Pineapple Cottage-Liste (Nr. 1355789) nach, welches Cottage am besten zu Ihren Bedürfnissen passt.
Die Gäste schwärmen von dem Motto "SCHWEIFEN, UNVERWÖHNLICH, NIMM DEINEN ATEM WEG" in alle Richtungen! Die Sonne und der Mond erheben sich über dem Meer, während Sie die Wunder von Ihrem bequemen Schaukelstuhl ODER dem Schwingbett auf der Veranda aus beobachten. Birdsong ist der wunderschöne Soundtrack auf diesem privaten Bauernhof am Ende einer Sackgasse. Entspannen Sie sich bei einem Spaziergang durch die Obstgärten und probieren Sie die Früchte ... dann ist es am besten!
Das COTTAGE ist hell, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen. Die 'BAMBOO SLEEPING CHAMBER' bietet ein King Size 'Sleep Number'-Bett mit doppelter Steuerung für mehr Festigkeit. Ein FULL Size Futon ist drinnen und draußen auf der LANAI ist die QUEEN Size 'HANGING BED'. (Dieses Bett ist bei unseren Gästen beliebt, die schlafen, schlafen, lesen und reden, während sie sich im Wind wiegen und die Schönheit genießen.) Begehbare Dusche und Sockelwaschbecken im Cottage-Bad. Wäschemöglichkeiten mit allem Zubehör stehen unseren Gästen nur wenige Schritte vom Ferienhaus entfernt zur Verfügung.
Ein riesiger AVOCADO-Baum schmiegt sich an die Terrasse neben der Veranda. Wir haben sie MS genannt. CADDO. Sie können ihre Früchte in der Saison schmecken und fast immer wird ein Stiel von "Apfel" -Bananen von ihren Zweigen hängen. Bringen Sie ein paar Lebensmittel mit und Sie sind bereit, sich niederzulassen.

Beautiful peaceful stay at farm close to Hilo

What a beautiful location and farm. So peaceful and a fantastic place to decompress. Matter of fact we spent a very enjoyable day on the lanai. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! We highly recommend this place and would stay again 3 easy check in/out, nice hosts. Farm is about 30 minutes from Hilo.

Lovely stay, beautiful location

Hulili farm was a perfect home base during our week-long visit to the big island. We enjoyed the super-comfy bed in the ginger cottage - gorgeous grounds and peaceful ocean view. Bonus - fresh avocados from the tree right outside the cottage! The farm location on the rainforest eastern side of the island worked well for us - a 30 min drive to Hilo, and hour to Volcano National park, and one hour to the Mauna Kea visitor center.

Beautiful and relaxing

The location is secluded with beautiful views of the ocean. The cottage is perfect for 2-4 guests. Has everything you will need. Easy driving to beaches, volcano NP and to Hilo. The lanai is a great place for morning coffee and evening drinks. Watch sunrise and sunset. Hosts are very helpful and have great suggestions for day trips. Would definitely stay again.

All the photos, descriptions from host, and ratings from former guests are spot on. The views are fantastic! The cottage is roomy, well appointed, and quite comfortable. It’s a convenient location. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Bucolic retreat

Off the beaten path but able to readily access the sites of Hilo, Volcanoes NP, Puna and the Hamakua Coast. If you want to enjoy a little bit of rural Hawaii, this is a great place to stay.

Off the path paradise

Short drive from town, hosts were wonderful sharing some great suggestions for visiting. This property is not your typical vacation spot, perfect for couples or those that don't want a lot of other tourists. You can come & go as you please. Loved our stay!!

Wonderful Honeymoon Location and Affordable!

Quiet getaway

We love staying here! It is quiet, peaceful and has an awesome view! A great place to have some downtime. For those who want to explore the island a bit it’s a great location. Must Stay here

This location is located in a very beautiful iconic countryside of the big island of Hawaii. My girls were very excited about what we were staying at. The views are amazing. Your living in nature well enjoying in comforts of home. The hosts were very friendly. They even brought us over some fresh cut apple bananas and hung them from the avocado tree for us. When we come back we will definitely be booking here again. I would like to thank the host for sharing their beautiful country home with us.

Down home on the farm.

Located in a farming/orchard/ranching area in the rain forest side of the Big Island. Most properties in the area are working farms with families and acreage, so expect to experience the daily activity of farm life. The cottage we stayed in was an extension of the main house, separated by a covered garage port. The family are great hosts, quiet and mindful of guest privacy. The view from the covered lanai out over the orchard and ocean is spectacular and peaceful, and we spent much of our time there. The living quarters were adequate and nice, but not new or updated if that matters. There is a shared off site laundry that was fine. The only thing I would warn about is that there is no air conditioning. A ceiling fan and a floor fan with open windows works well for most days. We had a run of 3 hot steamy, rainy nights that were difficult to sleep through for us cold climate visitors. The location is about 20-25 minutes drive from Hilo and any significant services and restaurants, but the full kitchen, fridge and eating area allows for food prep and dining. The region has some great attractions, a couple of spectacular waterfalls nearby, and the fabulous Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden and parks with beaches and snorkeling when the seas are calm enough. Within 45-60 minutes, you can get to several Farmers Markets, Hilo, Waimea, Saddle Road volcanic parks and hiking trails and quaint small town districts. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again on future visits.

For those happy to be away from the action, this spot is within an hour of most of the east coast attractions. We enjoyed the secluded nature of the place.

Todd and Madeleine Loewen are the caretakers and cottage keepers here at Hulili.
A full time farm, Hulili grows tropical fruits called longan (lawn-gone) and lychee (lie-chee) on a large scale, however there are also many other fruits that grow on the farm throughout the year. There are appx. 8 acres in orchard. The remaining acreage holds house, barn, cottage and an enormous 'front yard'.

We were delighted with the 'end of the road' location, and the undeveloped, unspoiled view of the ocean and surrounding country. The 500 foot elevation means better view and pleasant breezes. The land has a gentle slope toward the orchards and ocean. The surrounding open spaces land makes it seem as if we are on hundreds of acres.

There is the feeling of being the only people on the island. With such privacy and space, we enjoy outside living morning to night! Mornings on the lanai as you watch the sunrise over the Pacific are incredible, as are the evening sunset colors and moonrise. We have less rain than Hilo and enjoy tropical trade winds that keep us cooler in the summer than in town.
Beautiful awe-inspiring location and a short drive from all that the Big Island has to offer, make for a perfect vacation!
